I always like seeing how movies or commercials are made. Avril Lavigne’s fragrance, Black Star is an exciting new product that we’re all excited to get our hands on. You’ve probably already enjoyed the commercial, now here are some behind-the-scenes footage. It was filmed in front of a green screen and then special effects were added. Avril was attached to a robotic arm to give the illusion that she was floating. I won’t lie, I’m pretty jealous.
My only complaint about this video is that Avril is clearly reading from a script. She doesn’t sound natural when talking about her new fragrance and it makes her come across as phony. If this was something she truly cared about she wouldn’t need a script. Maybe she was having an ‘off day’.
