Deryck Whibley, Stevo Jocz and Cone McCaslin will be taking their band Sum 41 to play at the rock festival The Bamboozle on the first weekend in May. The festival, which will take place at Giants Stadium in New Jersey, has some major acts this year.
Sum 41 will be playing on May 3, 2009 with amazing artists such as No Doubt, Taking Back Sunday, Rise Against, The Used, Face to Face, Demi Lovato, Silverstein, Valencia, The Ataris, Ace Enders, and A Million Different People.
As far as the first day of the festival goes – May 2, 2009 – Fall Out Boy will headline. Other artists playing on Day 1 include Third Eye Blind, The Get Up Kids, Cobra Starship, Gavin Rossdale, All Time Low, Metro Station, Bayside, Boys Like Girls, New Found Glory, Gwar, Bloodhound Gang, and Cartel.

Bamboozle starts at 11:30am but no specific schedule has been announced yet. Tickets are $60 for the day on May 2 or 3 and $110 for the May 2-3 weekend. The Hoodwinked Festival – where bands play under fake names – will be held at Giants Stadium on May 1 at 5pm and tickets for all three days can be bought together for $125.
