Barack Obama at the “We Are One” Event

There are some great photos of President-elect Barack Obama from the “We Are One” event at the Lincoln Memorial yesterday (January 18).

I think my favorite is the one above. It is such a powerful picture with Obama and his wife Michelle Obama, walking down the steps of the Lincoln Memorial, with Lincoln in the background. There is such symbolism there. I just love it.

I also like the photos of Obama chatting with some of the celebrities that were there. The pictures of him and Stevie Wonder are amazing. There was quite the list of celebrities that took part in the festivities yesterday. You can see some of their pictures here.
