First, Barbara Walters tells Larry King about her issues with Star Jones and having to lie about her gastric bypass surgery:
Next, Barbara Walters talks about what happened with Rosie ODonnell, getting in the middle of the feud with Donald Trump.
Is it me or she just irrelevant nowadays? Sure, she’s had a great career, but I don’t know of anyone who really is a fan.

Come on gals. stop the “cattiness” and the jealousy. Barbara Walters is one of the best interviewers alive. Unfortunately she has gotten older and does not do it as often anymore, she doesn’t need to. She has proven herself. I, personally, will never forget her interview with the Shah of Iran. It was one of her best. And there were many. No other woman has done so much and interviewed so many in the world of journalism. So Babs, I thank you for all those wonderful moments of great television. And don’t you stop.
You’re right Yolanda!! Hmm, Babs was married twice I believe, I wonder if she was married to her second husband when she was having an affair with the married Senator. Or it could be she was the only one who thought it would be a big scandal if it was discovered. She probably couldn’t come up with anything else to try to “tantalize” her public. It’s not working…..
when babs talks about her date’g the 1st black senator and discuss’s the fact that that affair occured some 30 yrs ago she prob hasnt done the math to figure out that her relationship occured during the 80s…interacial parterships where not regard’d as a thing of shame nor was it regard’d as s’thing to be swept under the rug. i dont know why she is play’g that timeframe to b one of prehistoric times…my guess is that she didnt come “out” on that relationship bcz of other reasons. – yoli
Many years ago, when Baba Wawa had her “specials” with different celebrities, they were the first of their kind. She always asked questions that no other interviewer would ask and she always made the celebrity “cry” by bringing up some painful incident from their past. People actually looked forward to these specials because as I say, it had never been done before. Now if I see that she has a special coming up I start groaning and make plans to have my head in a gas oven that night or cancel my cable subscription in an attempt to avoid the whole thing. Barbara had her glory days decades ago and now she’s just a snobbish has-been. I could care less about her book just like the rest of the population
