I’ve got 7 children so the most important thing we’ve done to keep everything moving at a reasonable pace and not getting stressed is to have a family calendar. Everyone puts what they have going that day on it and their chores are also on it so that no one has any doubt what needs to be done. There is nothing more stressful than suddenly realizing that you have something to do in one place and have to be somewhere across town at the same time. This way, we can plan on where we are going, who is going and who is chauffeur. lol
