There are so many different clips of the anticipated video for “Run This Town” (by Jay-Z featuring Rihanna and Kanye West), that it’s hard to keep track. Most recently, a behind-the-scenes clip with some words from Jay has been released.
The Hova says, “It is pretty much about evolution and the progress. You start out as new artists and you make your way into the game and you climb that mountain and you get to the top and you put your flag down."
This music video was directed by Anthony Mandler and was filmed on August 6th in Fort Totten Park. We can expect to see the music video released on August 20th on MTV and all of it’s platforms. This is the first single of Jay-Z’s album The Blueprint 3 and is the first recorded music from Rihanna that we’ve heard since she became more subdued after her altercation with Chris Brown. You’ll be able to buy Jay’s The Blueprint 3 album on September 11th.
