Bethenny Frankel Already Has A Replacement on “Real Housewives of New York City”

NY Fashion Week Pamella Roland Front Row Celebrity Arrivals

Well, that was fast — just a day after Bravo announced they were indeed giving Bethenny Frankel her own show, word is out on her replacement. It’s Sonja Morgan, who I’m giving a few points on the socialite scale for having an active FameGame profile and for showing up on 5 pages of results on New York Social Diary. Sonja is the owner of Sonja Productions and was the executive producer of a film called The Marsh. It doesn’t look like her company has done any other films since then, but I’m sure we’ll be a treated to a ton of shots about how OMG SO BUSY she is.

Life & Style reports that Sonja will appear on episode 5 of season 3 of Real Housewives of New York City. D-Listed has a photo of her and IMDB has her headshot. Let’s just say it looks like she could also fit in nicely on Real Housewives of Orange County.

Edit: Gawker has dug up some more information on Sonja. She’s the wife of John Morgan, of the J.P. Morgan family, who she met while hostessing at a restaurant. Marrying up works wonders, ladies! They also dug up her Amazon profile, where she describes herself as a “Former Model, Actress, Restauranteur: PR Personality.” Just like every other social-climbing broad in the city.

Oh snap, a Morgan! This may make her more pertinent than the Countess, what with her being still married to her money, and it being American-born money and all.
