This song is a triple treat for me! Beyoncé Knowles combined with the incredible Stevie Wonder to create a song for the Luther Vandross tribute album So Amazing: An All-Star Tribute to Luther Vandross. Luther was another of my favorite artists. He passed away on July 1, 2005 after a lengthy battle with diabetes and complications related to having a stroke.
The song, “So Amazing” earned Beyoncé a 2006 Grammy Award in the “Best R&B Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals” category.
