Finally!! Beyoncé “Sasha Fierce” Knowles has released the music video for her latest single “Ego” yesterday. The track is off of her double-disc album “I Am…Sasha Fierce” and was written by Elvis “BlacElvis” Williams, Harold Lilly and Beyoncé. Featured on the remix to the song, is rapper, Kanye West, who Beyoncé says she thought was the perfect choice.
Beyoncé has said that she wanted the “Ego” video to be like the one for “Single Ladies (Put a Ring On It)” where it’s just the three women dancing together and nothing else, but this time with a black background and white suits. Her inspiration for this style was watching a video of Gwen Verdon dancing, which was then set to the tune of “Mexican Breakfast” (see it here).
What do you think? Are you liking this newest video? I’m not sure completely if I like it but I admire that she went for the natural look with her hair. It’s definitely fierce. I also like how the white outfits shine in front of the black background, especially towards the end. Let me know what you think!
I absolutely love it…she knows how much of a sensation SL was and she’s doing it again…she’s smart. I love the less is more concept of it and the curly afro and the cat eyes are really sexy…Bey killed it again…now I’m REALLY excited for ‘Sweet Dreams’.
