Beyoncé Knowles sat down for an interview with the UK’s The Times where she spoke about her career, possibly taking some time off and being a bit of a control freak.
Explaining the recent talk that she’d be taking some time off from being Sasha Fierce, Beyoncé says, “I’m really trying not to put anything on my calendar for a year from now – because I’ve never not had that."
Bey says she knows that she can’t be in control of everything, "There are certain things where I can back off – it can get to a point where it’s out of your control. Things are going to happen. You have to roll with it. And I wish that I could be that way all the time.
Se continues to explain that it can be hard for her to just let things be, "I’ve worked with some people who are way worse, I have to say. So I’m not as much of a control freak as some. But I am more of a control freak than most. That’s being very honest."
I can understand that. Especially for someone who’s worked so hard and gotten in such a great position career-wise. I’m sure you have to be a little bit of a control freak to be so successful.
