Beyoncé Wins Copyright Lawsuit

Beyonce Knowles

Beyoncé has been cleared in a legal battle where her former manager, Jennifer Armour, attempted to sue her for stealing the song "Baby Boy."  Wow!

Even though Armour claims to have submitted a demo of a similar sounding song to Bey’s dad, Mathew Knowles, and some reps at Bey’s record label in February 2003, it’s been proven that the song was complete before that time.

Plus, the court also ruled that the two songs don’t sound alike!!!

Beyoncé’s rep released the following statement: "It’s unfortunate that we had to endure this long legal process, but I am hopeful this decision will allow all of us that were involved to finally move on."

Good for Bey!  What a great way to start the new year!

I think copyright cases should be properly tooken care of. If a case is disputed incorrectly it could change someones life. So I think Beyonc’e should have won her case….. and she did.
