Beyonce doesn’t think much of parties

Now this little tidbit from Beyonce kinda made me feel bad for her. Well, almost, anyway. She says that she doesn’t like going to social gatherings mostly because she feels like everyone is staring at her (I have to admit I would be, wouldn’t you?). Here’s what she had to say:

“I don’t really go out much. If I wasn’t a celebrity then I don’t know how I would feel, but it’s not that much fun for me – it feels like I’m in a cage and everyone is watching.”

I don’t like going to parties mostly because I don’t like small talk and I can’t stand the taste of anything alcoholic, so by the time I’m just getting comfortable everyone’s half off their gourd and I end up watching reruns of Beverly Hillbillies with the kids upstairs. Yeah.
