Beyoncé Gets Two Spots On MTV's Top Ten Women List

zumaredwestphotos119605-20081126-zaf-ny1.jpgYes, you read it right. On MTV News‘ Top Ten Women of the Year List, our favorite chick got two spots: one for Beyoncé and one for Sasha Fierce.  Beyoncé was put at #10 on the list for finishing her much awaited double disc album, “I Am…Sasha Fierce” and for starring in the new film “Cadillac Records” as musical legend Etta James.  She also got married to one heck of a man, Jay-Z and was praised by PETA for her non-fur outfits.  Her song, “Single Ladies (Put Ring On It) was MTV’s second best song of 2008, she donated money to hurricane victims  and was very involved with supporting Barack Obama and voluntering at his inauguration. Finally, she was granted a Golden Globe nomination. It has indeed been an amazing year for her.

So, why was Sasha Fierce put at #6 on the Top Ten List? Sexiness alone put her ahead of others on the list. She was commended by MTV for her awesome video for “Single Ladies” and she’s been said to be “the most interesting alter ego ever created by a musical superstar.”

Hats off to Beyoncé and Sasha, because they’re both great!

MTV is a joke!!! The only one they want to praise is Brittany spears. Beyonce should have been in the top 5 and at the top if you asked me. I mean damn even rihanna should have been in the top 5 for the year she has had. MTV hate to admit that 2 Black females are running this game. Too bad, they are.
