Beyoncé Knowles - Then and Now

I thought it’d be fun to take a look at the difference between how Beyoncé looks now compared to how she did around this time of year in 2007. On the left is a picture from December 3, 2007 at Movies Rock. On the right is a photo from the 40 Principales Awards on the 13th of December, 2008.

I think this year her style is a lot more sultry and sexier, and on top of it, I think she’s in much better shape. She seems more toned, and I think all that “Single Ladies” dancing made her body look even more amazing. I wasn’t a fan of all her style choices last year, but this year she made me proud!

Also, not just physically but emotionally, Bey has changed a great amount. Instead of making just another booty shaking album, Bey took the time to let us see two sides of her. This year, she revealed to us that who she is on stage is not who she is in real life. In fact, her self-entitled on stage persona, Sasha Fierce, is someone completely opposite of her. I think this year was much more successful and rewarding for her. With the creation of two new movies, “Cadillac Records” and “Obsessed” (to be released in 2009) and the hit of her double disc album “I Am…Sasha Fierce“, Beyoncé has taken us by storm. She made the #15 spot on Maxim’s Hot 100 List of 2008 for a reason. Plus, she got married to superstar rapper, Jay-Z! That’s quite a big step.
