Beyoncé Knowles absolutely blew me away with her performances at the 2008 Fashion Rocks. She sounded great when she sang “Just Stand Up“, but I was really touched by her performance of “At Last“, dedicated to Etta James. It was so sweet and sincere, and she sounded great. I loved it. Wig and all. She also performed with Justin Timberlake,singing “Ain’t Nothing Like the Real Thing” and let me just say I thought she made Justin look like he was standing still. She did do good on “At Last”, but she didn’t do it justice, IMO. I don’t think anyone could. However, Etta James seemed impressed/pleased with her rendition.
