Beyonce Performs "Proud Mary" in 2005

Since I put up the video of Beyoncé and Jewel performing "Proud Mary" during 2003’s Divas Live I thought it might be fun to watch Bey perform it by herself at the 2005 Kennedy Center Honors for Tina Turner (I love Tina!!!!).  It really destroys the Divas Live performance, doesn’t it?

My favorite moment?  President Bush’s appreciation of Beyoncé is clear from how he looks at her and says "wow" when she saunters onstage in that revealing outfit.  I guess the fact that they’re both from Texas helps :)
