Oh boy. With the divorce and paternity suit involving her parents, you would think that Beyoncé and her mama, Tina Knowles had enough on their plates.
Now, their clothing line, House of Dereon is being sued by Hong Kong clothing company Vier International for what they say is a breach of contract. They claim to have lost $500,000, unfortunately. The company says that Donna Loren LLC and shippers HJM International were "conspirators who induced the shipment of goods to the United States with the intent to convert them or pay less than the agreed upon contract price."
House of Dereon was involved with this because they are said to have made purchase orders and requested manufacturer specifications. Vier are asking for compensation and have filed the complaint under the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act, which is usually used for prosecution of organized gangs, such as the mafia.
Yikes, Bey!! I’m nervous to see what happens with this…
