Big Brother 10: Get Ready for the First Live Eviction

This season is already better than BB9. So far, with the exception of s***-disturber Brian, I already like pretty much all the houseguests this season. Great casting this time!!

The season hasn’t even been underway for a week yet and there’s already drama, a showmance & new nicknames in the house.

Jerry is now called The Colonel, which I rather like. He has taken on the predictable role of the father figure in the house. He joins in all the games with everyone, has a fun and upbeat spirit to him and even bandages cuts on feet (Michelle cut her foot last night in a sack race and Jerry performed the first aid on her, complete with a kiss on the cheek.) I have to admit, despite a couple of rough edges, I truly like Jerry! In some ways, he reminds me of my own grandfather, who was one of my all time favorite people in the world. I’m hoping he wins…

As for the showmance, Ollie & April are getting closer and this could be a good pair to watch this season.

And the drama…well, Angie got upset at a joking statement Jerry made during a game of charades and went to her room crying. For several hours on Sunday night, that was the big polarizing drama. Of course, Jerry never meant to hurt her and when he found out she was upset, he apologized and went to the HOH room to calm down because it upset him to know he had hurt her feelings.

Since the Veto competition was won by Jessie, he took himself off the block and Jerry put up the little manipulator Brian in his place. The last few days have been all about Brian trying to weasel himself into good standing with the others. Jerry’s comment about it was, “That’s what a piranha does.”

Meanwhile, Renny seemed to have the votes of all the girls except for Angie and several of the men, but as of last night, Brian was beginning to get into their heads. It could be a close vote. And with things getting stirred up by the Brian camp, and the tension of living in the house starting to rise, April & Keesha nearly got into a catfight late last night.

Be sure to tune in tonight to see who is voted out in the first live Big Brother 10 eviction! And then check back here afterwards for the recap and to leave comments.

And you can have a 24/7 peek inside the house by clicking on the banner below. The first two weeks are free!
