This morning, houseguest Ryan got some tragic and horrible news. His grandfather passed away. He was brought into the Diary Room and told the news by the producers and then given a letter from his mother.
He needed to talk to someone in the house with a sympathetic ear, and he chose to talk about it with Sheila. He doesn’t want to try to get everyone’s sympathy, because that would most likely backfire. Here’s a clip of him reading the emotional letter from home to Sheila:
