Biggest Loser: A Heartbreaking Elimination

Last week on the Biggest Loser, nine people were sent home to lose weight and were told that if their partner was still in the competition in 30 days, the partner at home could come back to the ranch.

Then, Alison Sweeney offered them up to $25,000 to go home, but none of them took the temptation. Staying on the ranch was to change their whole lives, not just temporarily make them different with money. Joelle actually considered going home and taking the money, but changed her mind.

There was a killer challenge for phone calls home and for immunity.

Joelle kept giving less than 100% in the workouts and finally he had his fill and lost his temper with her.

In the first weigh-in without the nine others, there were some players who had more success this week than others:

The two people below the yellow line this week were Dan & Jerry. That was the absolute worst thing that could have happened. They’re the two that need it the most and now one of them had to go home.

The others had a horrible choice to make. Jerry collapsed the first day on the campus so they knew that he needed the medical supervision and the support more than anyone.

Ron told them that Dan needs it more than Jerry since Jerry has been thin in his life, Dan has never been thin. He was in tears when he told the others that if Dan went home, he would just end up like Ron had.

All I can say is that I’m so glad that they are deciding, and not me. I would throw myself on the mercy of the network to spare them both and send me. How awful!!

Everyone was in tears (including me) when the others voted to send Jerry home. Even Dan was crying to see him have to go. I’m so sad!!

However, I felt much better when I saw how well Jerry has been doing since leaving the show. His diabetes is gone, and he feels great. Estella has lost weight and looks terrific and Jerry has lost 84 lbs. And he has a goal of losing a60 before the finale. Go, Jerry!!!
