One of the things that most of us try to do after the holidays is shed some of the weight we put on during the holidays. And some of us need to lose a lot more than that. The next new season of The Biggest Loser is set to begin on January 5 at 8/7c on NBC. I’m already getting excited about the new contestants and will be trying to lose weight along with them.
To help you get to know the new crop of Biggest Loser contestants, I’ll be posting video clips where each of them tells a bit of their story. This first one shows a mother & daughter who have been touched by breast cancer…and realized that being obese increases the risk for breast cancer. Take a look:
These two Tongan cousins remind me a lot of Filipe & Sione, from two seasons ago. I got so interested in those two because of their warm and wonderful personalities and these new cousins seem very much like them. They also lost an uncle just three days before getting to the ranch. He died because of health conditions brought on by his weight. Watch this:
This mother & son look like they may tug at my heart strings this season. The son almost had me in tears when they showed his starting weigh-in:
