Biggest Loser: There’s a Crazy Person in the House!

This episode of the Biggest Loser started with Alison Sweeney telling the contestants that the week was going to be all about choices. She started by telling them that the first team to step across a line would get a 2 lb. advantage at the weigh-in, but would not be able to work out with Jillian & Bob for the week.

No one was ready to give up Bob & Jillian for only two pounds, but then Tracey stepped over the line…without even asking her teammate Coach Mo how he felt about it.

Everyone thought she was nuts to do it and the trainers were very angry with her for it, but things went on.

Abby got a stress fracture in her leg and will now have to only work out in the pool from now on. She won’t let this slow her down, though.

Then Alison told them they had a choice…and a temptation. They were put in little booths here they couldn’t see what the others were doing and tempted with cupcakes. The person who ate the most cupcakes would get to choose which person on each team to weigh in for the competition. Only that person’s weight would count for the team.

No big surprise here, but Tracey ate four cupcakes. The only other person who ate any was Antoine and he ate only two.

It’s clear that there’s a pattern forming with Tracey. Now I see that when she put herself in the hospital in the very first challenge, it was because she pushed herself far too hard and didn’t use any logic at all. She’s only interested in “winning” and not anyone or anything else. Her priorities are all wrong.

Jillian was so furious, she swore to never let Tracey take her away from the others again. Bob said that he hates game players because they just get fat again.

Everyone tried extra hard for the week, because they felt responsible for their teammates staying. An entire team would be eliminated at the weigh-in.

Next, the group went to a big challenge. Alison told them that they had a choice between carrying 250 lbs. in 5 lb. weights and from a short distance, or carry 25- lbs. in 25 lb. weights from a far distance. The weights all had to be carried up a steep incline and dropped into a hole at the top. The first team to finish would get immunity.

The Green Team won immunity, but just because they won, no one else stopped the task. They all finished. Everyone other than Tracey was there for the right reasons.

Each of the teams went to talk to Tracey before the weigh-in trying to appeal to her to save the ones that needed to be there the most. She promised many of them that she would save them, but when it came time for the actual weigh-in, she threw everyone under the bus and did exactly what she had promised not to do.

Here’s how the weigh-in went:

Team Name Last Wk. This Wk. Loss %
Pink Amanda 240 235 -5 2.08%
Rebecca 255 248
Purple Tracey 228 217 -11 5.26%
Coach Mo 327 326
Red Antoine 341 330 -6 1.46%
Sean 411 405
Green Allen 296 292 immunity
Abby 221 216
Brown Liz 247 243 -4 1.62%
Danny 394 390
Blue Rudy 400 388 -12 3.00%
Dina 237
Orange Daniel 293 287 -6 1.35%
Shay 443 437
Black Julio 375 368 -7 1.87%

The two teams below the yellow line were the red team and the orange team. Everyone knew that Shay needed to be there the most and did not have a support system to help her at home. Sean & Antoine talked about it and agreed that they both had a good support system at home, so they asked everyone to send them home and save Shay.

I have to say that I was bawling my eyes out during the elimination. What an unselfish thing to do! They both knew they needed to be there, but sacrificed themselves because Shay needed it more. Wow! This is an amazing show!

Everyone voted as they had been requested to vote and Sean & Antoine were eliminated.

When Sean got home, he lost even more weight, a total of 120 lbs. so far. He looks excellent and says that he’s feeling great too. He speaks to youth groups about living healthy so he’s spreading the word about all the things he learned on the ranch.

After Antoine got home, he lost more weight and when we saw him he had lost 105 lbs. so far. He looks amazing. Antoine also got the added prize of having a newly formed relationship with Alexandra, who was eliminated in the first week.

What did you think of this week’s episode? What do you think of the things that Tracey chose to do? Do you think she was right to make the choices she did? What about her teammate? Who do you like so far this season? Let us know!

Great review! There certainly is a crazy person in the house, wow. I was telling my wife earlier tonight that I don’t recall ever seeing an act of outright selfishness like we witnessed on TBL this week. Again, great review and thanks for sharing!
