Biggest Loser: Two Go Home Recap

On this week’s Biggest Loser, the contestants started with a Pop Challenge with the prize being a 1 lb. advantage at the weigh-in. Allen won the 1 lb. advantage this week. Allison Sweeney told them that this week there would be two people to go home. The first would be the person with the lowest percentage of weight loss for the week. That person would fall below the red line and go home immediately.

Then the two remaining people with the lowest percentages of weight loss would be up for the vote to be eliminated. The trainers worked them all harder than ever and in another challenge Rudy won immunity at the weigh-in.

Here’s how the weigh-in went this week:

Shay broke the record for the fastest of any Biggest Loser woman to lose 100 lbs. As of this week’s weigh-in, Shay lost 100 lbs. on the rance in 9 weeks. Amazing! Congratulations, Shay! I’m thrilled for you!

Danny also broke 100 pounds lost on the ranch. What an amazing week!</

Daniel lost the lowest percentage this week and fell below the red line. That meant that he was eliminated right at the weigh-in. I hate to see him go again. He’s such an inspiration, but it’s great that he got the second chance and is closer to reaching his goals.

Then, the truly heartbreaking thing happened and the others voted to send Shay home. Even though she lost 17 lbs. in one week and broke a record for reaching 100 lbs. lost the fastest for a woman, she had to leave. It’s just so sad.

Since being at home, Daniel has continued to lose weight and has taken off 215 lbs. so far. He also has a girlfriend. It’s so wonderful to see how he has changed his life!
