EW’s Ausiello moved his “Ask Ausiello” report to Thursdays, and boy, oh boy did he make it worth the wait for Ugly Betty fans:
Question: Anything good coming up on Ugly Betty that you can tease? — Sandra
Ausiello: You mean aside from a fourth season? (Phew!) Um, let’s see… someone will get married, someone will die, and Betty will find herself with a surprising new boss.
OK, we knew someone would die (we’ve all been assuming it’ll be Molly based on Kristin from EOnline’s hints). But MARRIED? Where did this come from? Based on where the story lines are right now, I can only see two possible candidates for marriage: Wilhelmina/Connor and Daniel/Molly . I do not rule out the latter, because it would be melodramatic to have Daniel suddenly settle down, followed by heartbreak almost instantly.
Connor/Wilhelmina would be far more delicious and fun, (especially if they BOTH start acting evil). But, I’ll believe it when I see it.
As far as Betty’s new boss goes, your guess is as good as mine. Does this mean that Daniel will once again not be Editor in Chief for a time? Or will Betty end up working for someone who isn’t Editor in Chief? Marc? Maybe he’ll have a meteoric rise, like Kimmie did earlier this season. Or, one intriguing idea would be if Betty went to work for Jodie Papadakis (Bernadette Peters). But, I just can’t see Betty leaving Mode AGAIN.
What do you think? Who is getting married? Who will be Betty’s boss?

I think that the “someone is getting married” thing probably just refers to Betty’s discovery on Facebook that Henry and Charlie got married in Tucson. As for Betty working for someone else, it’ll probably just be a temporary substitution while Daniel mourns the loss of Molly. I can’t imagine who it would be, though, besides Wilhelmina or Claire.

Oooh I hadn’t thought of the ’someone is getting married’ being Henrys news. I only came up with Connor/Willie or Daniel/Molly or at a push Ignacio and his nurse (whose name I cannot for the life of me remember…Elena?) No idea about the new boss but I agree it will only be temporary due to Mollys death.

I’m with SirLizard. Probably the marriage refers to the surprise of Henry in facebook. And new boss? Could it be Connor and then Willy and him clash because he has turned “evil?”. Nah! probably not. He is a financial expert. What would he know about running a magazine? (but then what did Daniel know before?)

as much as I like to see molly disappear, could the death be the BABY? A baby really poses challenges for the show. so without baby, willie is demoted again, and maybe claire takes over?

Or maybe Stuart and Christina get married, then he dies? Ok I’m going off the deep end here, lol. I bet Henry got/is getting married :(. Because it does say *will get* married, not someone *is* married. I hope it’s not Henry. Is it set in stone that Molly will die? It’s a pretty crude way of moving on with her plotline, don’t ya think?

She hasn’t been mentioned by name yet, but a few weeks back, it had been hinted heavily by Kristen at E! that someone Daniel fancies will die. That really sounds like Molly, if you ask me…

I just hope the person that dies is rightfully… vindicated. If its not the father or son, whose left to pass on? *Is* there a portrayal *of* a holy ghost on Ugly Betty? Howso? If the writers are smart, they’ll reference late 80’s cult classics starring Tom Cruise for an answer. Only a bird would hold the clue. However, as some might say: birdbrains don’t hold all the answers.
The Boss is perhaps s omeone Who’ m we know nothing about?
