Billy Joel has pulled out of his concert with Elton John, citing mysterious medical reasons as his reason for backing out.
Elton had previously suffered from the flu and was set to return to the stage, but ended up scrapping his U.K. tour and a gig in Ireland, after suffering with the nasty symptoms.
Elton was due to return to the stage in San Jose later on today, but Billy has pulled out of the concert. Elton’s website says, “Live Nation and Another Planet Entertainment, as well as HP Pavilion at San Jose, were informed today that Billy Joel is unable to tour due to medical reasons. Organizers of the concert are working to establish a new concert date. Both Billy Joel and Elton are disappointed to be postponing the November 17 concert, and are looking forward to announcing a new concert date, once the availabilities have been worked out by all parties.”
Get well soon, Billy! He’s probably suffering from the flu, it’s definitely making the rounds.
