Blake Lively portrays Tiger Wood's wife on SNL

I only got to watch parts of Saturday Night Live last night, but I got to watch enough to thoroughly enjoy Gossip Girl star Blake Lively as the host.

In fact, I don’t care if the other skits she was in were funny or not. The Tiger Woods skit where Blake Lively portrayed his “very strong” wife Elin is so freakin’ funny. Love it, love it, love it! Basically, the scenario is that Tiger keeps screwing up at press conferences about the original incident, which leads to Tiger having to make up more incredible stories when his wife (in the skit) keeps beating the crap out of him.

Here’s Blake Lively’s SNL monologue, which becomes overrun with fake Muppets who want to sing a Christmas song:

Like I said, I didn’t get to see all the skits, though I vaguely remember a Staten Island Gossip Girl spinoff skit (that I heard but didn’t get to watch because I was working).

But thanks to YouTube, I did get to see these two SNL clips (without Blake Lively), one with Rihanna and “Shy Ronnie” and another featuring President Obama and the White House alleged party crashers.

I’m from Texas, very far from New York. I changed it to “Staten Island.”

    Thank you!

Her name is Elin, not “Elyn”. She’s swedish! :)

The Tiger Woods skit was very funny! I really liked it, glad to see a different, more humourous side to Blake.
