Blast from the Past: Debby Boone – You Light Up My Life

If you’re old like me, you might remember when this song came out. It was one of those songs that was played over, and over and over….and over again.

It seemed like every fifth song on WABC (remember when WABC was a top 40 station, old schoolers?) was “You Light Up My Life.” Debby Boone is Pat Boone’s daughter and this was her only hit.

How about that outfit? That flower? 1977 was an interesting year indeed.
