Blast from the Past: Sass Jordan - High Road Easy

The first time I heard Sass Jordan was at a club in New York City, I think the Limelight in the late ’80s.. I went with some friends who told me I’d be blown away, indeed I was. Sass was a total badass and her voice is exactly what one would expect from a woman in rock – smoky & raspy and she could belt out a tune like no one’s business. You don’t hear much from Sass nowadays though last I heard she was acting on Broadway. If you can, give a listen to some of her music. Good stuff.
