My daughter collects food and objects for the
“homeless by choice” in our area. They have special needs and over the years she’s learned what they can and can’t benefit being given.
Dollar store items like emergency blankets (thin silver ones), hot shots (handwarmers) are always appreciated in winter.

My favorite charity is Autism Speaks :-), In particular the Walk now for autism events. We walk in Seattle very year!

My favorite is a local one called Ladies of Charity. I donate a lot of my clothing and kids toys there that we no longer want or use and they, in turn, give them to needy families.
