Aldabella Scarpa’s new Make A Statement line of shoes is designed by teen girls for teen girls. The shoes are meant to send the positive message of self-empowerment and confidence in young women during such a crucial developmental phase in the lives.
In an effort to increase the awareness of issues of self-worth and identity effecting teen and pre-teen girls today, west coast-based Aldabella Scarpa gave Monique Esparza, age 13, and Jessica Smith, age 9, the opportunity to create their own shoe line to help inspire their peers and generation. The line features two models: the “I Matter” shoe, designed by Esparza, and the “I Rock” shoe, designed by Smith.

My daughter is the rocker. She would love them she is always helping around the house, at school with her sister.

I rock because I’m honest, funny and fun to be around.
My daughter tells me that I rock because I take care of 3 kids who never give me an easy time. I tell her that’s what loves about and she says she doesn’t want kids then.
They would be for my daughter.
Why do “I” rock? Well, I homeschool my kids and they LOVE being at home with me. I cook for them, bake for them, read to them, talk to them. They love it :)
I rock because I’m comfortable in my own skin and I love who I am!

i rock beacuse i filled up MY ipod with tons of movies and shows i can’t stand (um, drake and josh) so my kids can watch them on the go.
My 9 yr old daughter rocks my socks. She would adore these. She has her own style and is the sweetest person I know. She’s always trying to help others out.

I have an awesome almost 13 year old who rocks, which makes me rock by extension. She rocks because she had a rough go at life and is still making each day count.

my teenager daughters friends love to hang out at our house because we accept them for who they are without expectations.
My teenager daughter says I am the coolest mom who listens and doesn’t “hate-on her” for messing up, LOL

i’m entering for my DSD, she’s 9……..
she definetly rocks, this is an ADHD kid who knits, reads a lot, and has been learning to blacksmith!! she’s one of the coolest kids i know…..at least, when i don’t want to kill her……..but after all, i am her evil stepmonster!
I rock because I make it a point everyday to let my teen daughter know how much I love her believe in her! And I make sure she knows that I think she rocks, too!
