We shared earlier this week that Hilary’s movie, The Story of Bonnie and Clyde, was set to begin filming this July.
According to another news story, the filming will take place for 57 days. That doesn’t mean Hilary Duff will be there for that long, as production schedules try to group scenes together for an actor to shoot more quickly.
The writer and director for the film, Tonya Holly, said that the official announcement about the filming beginning will be made during the 75th anniversary of Bonnie & Clyde’s deaths, which is celebrated each year on May 23rd in Alexandria.
About “The Story of Bonnie and Clyde”
Bonnie Parker (Hilary Duff) has dreams of becoming an actress or a poet, anything to get her away from her small town. Clyde Barrow (Kevin Zegers) also grew up poor with dreams of being noticed and of having the finer things in life. One wanted excitement, the other wanted to be remembered. When their worlds collided, they became history. Hilary Duff shared earlier this month that she was excited to show people that Bonnie & Clyde were just teenagers during their tragic story, not adults like the first film portrayed.
