I made the decision, as I said in the comments of an earlier post, not to post the photos that were taken by an attendant at one of their baby showers. I stand by that decision, as it just breaks my heart that with all they are going through, they can’t even trust their friends. Anyway, if you are interested, is the Cease & Desist letter being sent to everyone who published the pictures (from TMZ.com):

Dear Sir/Madam:
Recently, a digital memory card containing a number of personal copyright protected photographs of our clients was stolen. The police are currently investigating this matter. The photos depict, among other things, private moments and images of our clients and/or their minor children, taken in Namibia, including images from a private baby shower (the “Stolen Photos”). It is obvious to anyone viewing the Stolen Photos that they were taken in private, on private property and that they could only have been taken by our clients and/or a family member, who own all right title and interest thereto.
We understand that the person who stole the Stolen Photos, or an accomplice, has been offering them for sale to the various media outlets and celebrity content websites, and may have offered the Stolen Photos to you.
This letter is to provide you with notice that the Stolen Photos are copyright protected, to which my clients own right and title thereto. Any unauthorized publication, reproduction or dissemination of the Stolen Photos constitutes an infringement of my clients’ copyrights in violation of the U.S. Copyright Act, Title 17 of the United States Code Section 101, et seq., and exposes you, and anyone else acting in concert with you, to civil liability, damages, injunctive relief and reimbursement of all attorneys’ fees and costs incurred by my clients in connection with any copyright infringement action. Furthermore, if any monies are paid for the purchase of the Stolen Photos, you will be engaged in the purchase of stolen property.
In addition, under the circumstances that the Stolen Photos were taken, namely, at private and personal events on private property, my clients had a reasonable expectation of enjoying total privacy. The publication of the photos would therefore constitute a unlawful invasion and violation of my clients’ right of privacy and would also be an unauthorized commercial appropriation of their names, likenesses and personas.
Anyone who publishes, disseminates, displays or otherwise exploits the Stolen Photos will be liable for substantial compensatory damages, punitive damages, and injunctive relief. If you publish or disseminate and of the Stolen Photos, our clients will take further legal action to protect their rights, including by the filing of a lawsuit seeking compensatory and punitive damages, statutory damages for copyright violations, and attorneys’ fees.
On behalf of our clients, we request as follows:
1. If you or any of your employees or agents are/have been approached and offered the right to acquire and publish any of the Photos, or are approached in any way with regard to the Photos, we ask that you immediately contact either myself or Evan Spiegel at Lavely & Singer at (310) 556-3501 x 238 or 247, so that the matter may be referred to the criminal authorities; and
2. That you cease and desist from exploiting, publishing, posting, distributing, or
otherwise using or disseminating (with or without monetary charge) any of the Stolen Photos, through any venue or medium, including but not limited to on your website.
Please govern yourself accordingly.
This letter does not purport to constitute a complete or exhaustive statement of all of our clients’ rights, contentions or legal theories. Nothing contained herein is intended as, nor should it be deemed to constitute, a waiver or relinquishment of any of our clients’ rights or remedies, whether legal or equitable, all of which are hereby expressly reserved.

Christina & Bethany, TC is one of the most narcissistic loons ever to hit the planet (earth). I started thinking it when I noticed that EVERY woman he’s been in a relationship was at least an inch and a half taller “in flats.” Now, some may say “he just likes tall women.” Well, he also likes exremely huge cars plus always trying to prove this or that via his own stunts etc…….NAPOLIANIC COMPLEX THY NAME IS TOM CRUISE. I loved the movie THE FIRM, but other than that I’m not a TC fan, and I think Katie is going to have some stories to tell “if she gets out of there with all her marbles intact…and memory.”

As for katie loved her on dawson’s creek,, girl is naive, she really didn’t know what she was getting into, I think she got swept up in it.

to me, it seemed like they always do something ridiculously and also clumsy.
It is so stupid for tom to put a high price for his baby daughter’s pic just to break shiloh’s record or something. And what is he going to do with the money? Just to show the world that his family can do better than brad’s? I never understand that man. Did scientology made him that way? or he’s just being himself?
and don’t forget about suri’s unregisterd domain names. another tomkat’s stupidity….
but the funny thing is tom’s life has similarities with brad’s. Like, they both have a pair of adopted children, their exes are blondes who actually are not natural blondes, they were preggers before married, their new women now are dark-haired, they both are 40 something men, and both of them were dying to be a father for so long and finally got their first biological children in the same year!

Am I the only one that thinks it’s hilarious that Suri Cruise’s picture did not get a big enough bid and the offer was then rescinded??
Viva – I sure agree with you – the pic is just adorable – it is just what we have been wanting (or me anyway), a nice “real” picture of them having a great time and looking totally in love. ;)
God! I really feel sory for them….I feel sory for holly too. I think she’s having a big burden, right now.

But, from the picture i saw in Popstar, they are so in love to each other and so happy together.

COLD HARD MATH, the pic is still up all over the place! I was really suprised because the news of the C/D letters started yesterday, and the story was even on tv today. They named TMZ as one of the sites the that was contacted. DLISTED has it still, POPSUGAR still has one,and all three are still on Celebrity Terrorist and who knows where else. Either this sites dont care, or they won’t take them down until the get their own personal C/D email.
One of the pictures is still up on Popsugar.com. It’s really sad, but I have a weird feeling, that this is going to get ugly before all is said and done. 447 pictures are STILL out there.
Thaks for the link girladvendger. It still amazes me that these guys thought they could get away with it, they’re obviously not very smart. What I’m wondering is how the memory stick got to them in the first place.

It’s a sad day when people think it’s alright to steal from you and make a profit from it. I don’t get it but until the law crack down on those who do this kind of thing and not reward folks…mixed message will continue.
I call this the Pam Anderson/Paris Hilton effect.
From what I learn on another site, is that friends of the person selling the photos were talking on their website, explaining how the person got hold of the memory stick and it was out right stolen from Holly when their re-enter the USA during customs.
These memory sticks are so small you can palm it in your hand and I don’t think people are aware how much info is contain on them.
I respect your decision not to show the pictures, of course we would love to see them… however, they do deserve some privacy. And our I respect their privacy and respect you for feeling the same way.

Christina, fully understand. Just a little more info. According to some investigative posters on JJ “some of who actually did the contacting of Jolie=Pitts legal council,” found out that it wasn’t a guest at the party who was attempting to sell the photo’s, but a man who was located via his now deleted MySpace profile (link below). It’s suspected that it was stolen from Holly upon her return to the US, and ironically Mass, which is where the attorney is located. What I’m afraid of is the person who had access to Holly was someone she knew and they stole it from her and then possibly joined forces with the MySpace person, but of course they were pretty dumb in sending pic’s out that someone would surely reconize as coming from someone who had an up close and personal relationship with the cou[le. Holly is in a serious position of trust, and in no way would jeopordise that, or be haphazard with that kind of information. Someone “if the story is true” she trusted has betrayed that trust seriously. Know of course that apart from the MySpace info, the other is a pieced together scenario patched together based on the information culled from various sties and subject to change.
