Brad Pitt took Maddox to Mars 2112, a science fiction restaurant in Times Square. The restaurant boasts rocket rides and sci-fi-themed arcade games, and apparently Brad picked up some stuff from the gift shop, the Martian Retail Galaxy. Maybe he was getting a few gifts for the rest of his kids who weren’t there while Brad and Maddox enjoyed some father and son time; an early Father’s Day activity!
Also, what I loved finding out was that the pair didn’t pull any big name celebrity punches. They waited in line like everyone else to get in to the rides. It’s nice to see them acting like regular people instead of making big demands.
You know what though? I love seeing pictures like these, of Brad or Angelina out doing the Mom and Dad thing, because I’m a parent too, so I relate to it. But MAN, it must be so weird to constantly have cameras trailing you when you walk around. I don’t know how anyone ever gets used to that, although Brad looks really calm about it, and Maddox never seems very bothered either.

it would be nice if we all could afford to have nannies watch our kids while we are out having fun with one of them…on the same token, I think its great that Brad does regular things with his kids, but they also need some stability….regular friends to hang out with. The travelling is great for when they are older, but they need to be able to develop FRIENDSHIPS with other kids in school / kindergarden on a regular basis and not be in another city every few weeks

Brad Pitt is sooooo wonderful. Brad clearly loves kids and wanted them, I hate he was denied the experience for sooooo long, but I am glad he got with Angelina. I applaud them for waiting in line too, I most likely wouldn’t have, but the tabloids make them sound like divas and they clearly are not. Happy Father’s Day, Brad.
What amazes me it that Brad managed to have, what for him, is a normal outing with Mad. I believe what Brad says about the children being his focus and that they calm him. I wish we had more celebrity parents with this kind of parenting. These kids will do great things as adults because they have had such a marvelous upbringing.

I love this family but I can’t wait for them to go on vacation. I mean, I’m sure gonna miss them and have withdrawal from not seeing current pics of them but I feel so bad for them with the amount of paps that follow them on a daily basis.
