If you’re an American Idol fan, you might remember that last year they did a special benefit show called American Idol Gives Back wherein they raised money for starving and underprivileged children in the U.S. and Africa. Tonight, on the show, Ryan Seacrest announced they’re doing another benefit show this season.
As they showed flashback clips to last year’s event, I found myself thinking how great it would be in Brad Pitt and/or Angelina Jolie took part in the Idol benefit.
After the commercial break, Ryan spilled the beans, announcing some of the big names that would be taking part this year – and yes! Brad Pitt will indeed be involved in American Idol Gives Back this year on April 9th. Knowing how important New Orleans is to him, I imagine that he will focus on that.

For real? I was watching Idol today..how coud I have missed that? I was even thinking the same thing as you…like I saw Madonna, and I was like…well, Brangelina will give this drive some major boost…Anyhoo, I will definitely be tuned in on April 9th!!!

Of all years, I haven’t watched Amercian Idol last year and this year since I started watching “Dancing With the Stars” instead. I guess there is a reason to watch it on April 9th then. The producers of AI need to boost the ratings this year because it was down.

Guess what? I was doing my laundry when they flashback last year “Idols Give Back” right away I thought about AJ and Brad Pitt wondering if they can atleast help Brad Pitt and AJ or vice versa either New Orleans or monies towards the children in needs anyway, I’m surely will not miss April 9th.

I was so happy to hear that Brad will be involved with American Idol Gives Back show. Also, Idol has some good talent this year. There is this young fellow called David. He has an amazing voice and I suggest you watch Idol just to see and hear him. Also, saw the picture of Brad on the set of Tree of Life, he looks so young. This man can pull off any look required.

Just wandered if any knew yet what he will be doing?
**OT: I received all the items I ordered from MakeItRightnola, last month. They said it would take 6-8weeks and it did. Just proof to the haters out there spreading lies about the site and the organisation.
