We already knew they’re generous with time and money when it comes to charitable causes, but Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie walk the walk when it comes to donating.
According to their tax return for the Jolie-Pitt Foundation, in 2008 Brad and Angelina gave $6.4 million to charity in their joint efforts. If I’m not misunderstanding, that doesn’t include their own individual donations to various causes, just the ones the worked on together.
They gave $2 million to Global Health, $1 million to Human Rights Watch, $1 million to the Make It Right Foundation, and $1 million to various Cambodian projects (presumably through the foundation in Maddox Jolie-Pitt’s name). The remaining funds went to a variety of other causes and projects.
Way to go Brad and Angelina!

Their family are all devoted philanthropists. It’s destiny that Brad fell in love with a woman who has noble-mind. And she expands it from Brad to his parents and siblings. As James said Angie is a catalyst. Today Jon Voight attended Children At Heart to benefit Children of Chernobyl. Matt Damon was there and these two were taken photos together. I believe Matt told Voight that his daughter is a supernova. It’s the word that Matt once described her.

Hooray for Brad and Angie! These two are true humanitarians. I really agree with you, sunny and have to say that it was destiny that brought Brad together with Angie. These two are meant for each other. Their common desire to help the underprivileged people all around the world is truly amazing. And also the other members of Brad´s family (his parents and siblings) are donating money to the charity. I think that Doug did that even before his older brother got together with Angie but I could remember wrong. Jon Voight should be very proud of his daughter and he sure is. Now that the father-daughter duo are – at least according to rags – rebuilding their relationship Jon must be proud of Angie and Brad. God bless the Jolie-Pitts 4ever!

Angelina Jolie would be “brilliant” as forensic medical examiner Dr Kay Scarpetta, author PATRICIA CORNWELL has said.
Patricia, the award-winning writer behind the crime thrillers, admits that she’s happy for the Changeling star to take on the coveted role.
“She has an interesting edge to her, I just have no doubt in my mind that she’ll do a brilliant job if she’s given the opportunity,” she said.
“If Angelina does do it, and it’s an if – she has to like the screenplay and be happy with everything – she will bring something very interesting to it. She will probably bring things to the character that go beyond what I do with it.”
She added: “I think she can play anything she wants, and it’s not just because she’s a superstar. This is a very gifted, very intelligent person and she’s a very fine actress – and a very courageous one for that matter.”
Patricia has already met up with the Oscar-winning actress and given her tips.
“When I saw her last April, I told her ‘I hope Scarpetta takes you over like she has me, because if she does, then you will play her the way she ought to be played’.”

I just love Brad & Angelina. They are both such great people and great actors. I pray that they stay together forever. I believe they were meant for each other and that their souls found their way to each other. They bring out the best in each other. Keep up the good work!

Funny, I am just finishing up the book The Scarpetta Factor. I have read all the books in this series and can see Angie playing Kay Scarpetta. As for Brad and Angie and all the donations, I am so proud to be their fan. I think this is only the beginning of all the good they will achieve. Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

they are truly rich in material things, but more so, they are abundantly blessed with giving hearts that blesses the lives of others.

Mary Ann, I bought the Scarpetta Factor book but can’t find time to start to read it yet. After these busy holidays, I will, maybe take a week off just to relax & read the book.

What can I say about Brad and Angie?They are my idols,my role models!Well,mostly Angie,cause I’m a woman!Brad…I just LOVE him!!!I think it’s really amazing that they donate so much money in charitable causes,but in my opinion the best think that they do is to bring awareness to the world!To inform us and makes us notice and pay attention to people who need our help and support!
There are many things(and I think a lot of you will agree with me)that we didn’t know about until Angie informed us!
I admire them soooo much!I’ll always be a fan of Brad and Angie and I’ll always be proud of it!!!
