Although Angelina Jolie still has some filming to do for Wanted, Angie, Brad, and the Jolie-Pitt kids had some fun in Chicago the other day. The family went to the Field Museum of History and checked out the dinosaur exhibits.
It’s so nice seeing the whole family out together.
One thing I love about them is that they’re so hands-on with the kids. They have bodyguards and assistants and could afford to hire a nanny for each kid – remember all those pictures of Britney Spears walking around while her nanny carried her baby a few steps behind her? But Brad and Angelina are usually carrying or holding hands with their kids. Sometimes one of the bodyguards (especially Superhero Mickey, my favorite!) will carry someone or hold someone’s hand, but you just never see Brad and Angie walking alone while hired helpers take care of the kids.
I do have to say though, as a mom of two kids myself, sometimes I find it hard to keep tabs on both of them at the same time when we’re out, so more power to them for keeping four under relative control!
It’s so great that they’re enjoying Chicago!

Funny thing is that when I think of Angie+Brad=Love=Maddox,Pax,Zahara & Shiloh. That family needs to be on a Gap Ad, Banna Republic Ad or Benneton Ad. The Ad concept should be called “True Love”.
Seperately, they were okay. Although, because Angelina and Maddox were the absolute cutest mother son duo on the planet they were far more interesting than Brad. When I saw Mr.& Mrs. Smith I thought Brad and Ang were an attractive couple like so many movie star couples in movies. But, I was not subscribed to any blogs about them, or looking forward to reading articles about them or supporting any of their causes, I was not even running out to see their movies like am now.
However, when Brad became Mad’s Dad, and they brought Zahara home, it elivated their stardom to Movie stars/Rock stars. They are such a beautiful family. The Jolie-Pitts are terribly interesting and have become a national obession. They have replaced JFK jr and Carolyn Bassett in the US and are larger that princess Diana.
I think that to americans they embody an American is suppose to be; unorthodox, goes against old world traditions and is successful and confident; a kick ass working Mom who is nontraditiona with totall sex appeal, with an georgeous sucessful Dad who completely adores his family and dotes over them; and a bunch of blended children who are well rounded, and who are loved children who come first.
To me the Jolie-Pitts represent the american ideal, and most people wish they had the courage to live life to the fullest, love passionately, and contribute to humanity unselfishly. Most of us dream of it in our 20’s, yet we settle for what lifes brings us by our late 30’s and we admire and live vicariously though people like Jolie-Pitts by our 40’s.
Kudos to Jolie Pitts for living life on their own terms.

Angie looks soo good in red. It’s amazing that she can wear any color and looks simply ravishing :)
Probably why she doesn’t wear them often, people would be too jealous of her!!

Brad, in my opinion, do not even appear to acknowledge Angelina in the pictures to the museum. He is walking way ahead of her as if she is not even there. Now, for the pictures at the dinner, he seems happy, but can not quite say the same thing about Angelina. I think this is just a photo-op, and the second they are finished Brad returns back wherever he flew in from, which I believe is LA.

Oh common Mandy, if walking apart and looking ahead are signs of disinterest or lack of acknowledgment then my husband disinterested in me twenty years ago when we first married. It’s a picture, for God’s sakes.

It appears to me he is focused on Pax, and making sure Pax pays attention and gives Daddy his hand while walking. With four kids at the museum, I am sure that the parents due have their moments. But my goodness, are they not entitled to argue or be ticked at one another?? Good Lord, give them a break. You act like they are suppose to be on at all times. To me they are normal family leaving the museum. It was different when they just had Maddox and they took him to the mueum. Not they have a six year old, two toddlers and babby to manage. Frankly, they seem to be managing them well.

They know if they walk together the paps will go crazy trying to snap that money picture.not safe for the children. whenever they are with the kids they walk apart. So what is the big dea?!!l,This couple is forever,people just can not belive it,true love is hard to find & they have found it & people are jealous.Eat your heart out GO BRAD & ANGIE!!

Actually, People magazine had an article recently about the Pitt Jolies. They do have a nanny for every kid. But they do not have the nannies hold the kids when they are out in public. Bad publicity.
Think about it, they have to have nannies. Look at all the pics of when the two of them are out with 2 or three of the kids. Who do you think are watching the other ones? Shiloh doesn’t go to daycare.

Angelina said in some of the Cannes interviews that they had a couple of nannies in opposite shifts, and only used them when there was complete chaos, like bath & bedtime. When they had only Mad & Z, they didn’t use nannies. In all the time Angelina has had Mad, from infant to Shiloh’s birth, I’ve never seen/heard of a nanny. Angelina even had a hard time letting Brad help care for Mad, at first. She’s like a lioness when it comes to her cubs.
Demi Moore was the first actress I heard of having a nanny for each of her kids (the kids are teenage now). Heidi Klum has been pictured with all 4 nannies & 4 kids, even when her mom and others are with them. There’s this wonder African American nanny that Hollywood parents go to (including Julia Roberts) who’s not very well-publicized. There are a lot of Hollywood mothers who’re credited with raising their kids themselves who’e had her invaluable help.
Know what nannies in large families are called? Older sisters and brothers. Or Mom, Gran, Aunt. In the Philippines, teachers on up have maids, nannies, and sometimes other helpers. Not that Filipino eachers make a lot of money, just that the poverty is so extreme people work for next to nothing as servants.
When I was a kid, only royalty and people like the Rockefellers had nannies for their kids. With both parents working long hours, nannies have become more common, especially among professional women.

Does anyone know what day/time they were at the Field Museum. I was at the Field on Saturday the 11th and didn’t see them. I’ll kick myself if they were there when I was and I missed them.

I think shiloh looks just like her good looking daddy,I think people are blind when they say she looks like angie she does has her lips.Shes a pretty little girl.But as a mother I think I have the most beautiful baby in the world “it’s only natural”Good luck to them.
