Several people have been commenting or emailing me, concerned about the rumors that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie split up. People have been asking why I haven’t posted about it. Well, because if I posted every time someone said their relationship was over, every week there would be at least one “oh my god, they broke up!” post followed by a “whew, no, they’re still together” post. These rumors circulate on a near-constant basis. If you look at any tabloid magazine, one week they’re saying Brad and Angie are finished, the next week they’re saying Brad and Angie are getting married, and the week after that they’re saying that they’ve just adopted ten new kids. And then the cycle continues.
However, apparently the concern is coming from the fact that Perez Hilton reported it. Except he didn’t really – he just acknowledged that there was a strong rumor going around. And actually, it appears that the rumor of Brad and Angelina splitting came from the National Enquirer. That tabloid trash isn’t even good enough to line your bird cage, let alone good enough to believe.
And in any case, Perez then reported that Angelina Jolie’s rep has denied the break-up rumors, calling them completely untrue.
I think I know why this is so persistent right now – we haven’t seen Angelina in months, not since Cannes. People have seen Brad on the red carpet without her at his side, something that is highly unusual. But these people are forgetting that the woman gave birth to twins, is breastfeeding, and likely completely exhausted. Then again, people are also saying that Brad looks unhappy lately. I disagree. I think he looks just like any other parent of young children. I looked like that, my husband looked like that, our friends all looked like that during the first months when no one is sleeping. The man is TIRED. It happens, it’s part of it.
But when you combine Angelina’s isolation in France, Brad’s solo red carpets, and his half-asleep expressions, it’s easy to see how tabloids would cash in on it all and speculate heavily.
Don’t believe the rumors just because they’re there. Is this couple bullet-proof? Of course not, any relationship can end. However, as far as strong Hollywood couples go, I’d say that these two are among the strongest, and unless a reputable source says that it’s ended, I’m going to carry on without worrying about it!
want do you want brad to do? have sex with angelina in public and on red carpets? if they get married it will be a matter of weeks nee days til the tabs will be screaming divorce. try searching for past brad interviews, he talks about jolie a lot. did you see candids from paul allens villa (at cannes time) when they thought no-one could see them. hugging a lot, showing affection?
JJB you should post if you want, but I think the general opinion of people who like Brad and Angelina is that they should just do what they do. It’s really not anyone business and I hate to tell you this but those ha8ters will always say those things. And the enquirer says that stuff not because of their affection but because Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie sell………..period……….them on the cover sells, that’s why the big price for their baby pics. They are hiding away in France have been since Canes, that’s a pretty good sign they are together otherwise you would see pictures of them somewhere.
Note too: I’ve seen pictures of Jennifer Anniston as you refer to Brad other romances…………I’ve seen pictures of her being affectionate with LOTS of people???

LOL. If Angelina is photographed in public, some people say that she wants attention. If she has not been photographed in public for a long time, some people start to break-up rumors. Actually, I am happy for them because it seems that they have found some privacy in France. Brad and Angelina don’t have to prove anyting to anyone especially to paps and tabloids.

I am fan of them for more than 3 years.and I have heard all those rumors in these past few years.
I lurk alot in other blogs,like US weekly and some other Antie Brangelina’s blogs as well as Brangelina’s lover blog. I know what they think about them and why Tabs usually think Brad is going back to Jen. of course they are wrong. but their reason are Brad’s words and Brad’s candid pics in past and the way he used to show his affectionate.
I found out you are more fan of Angie and you weren’t following Brad in past,but Brad used to show more affectionate toward his ex wife in public and in Candid pic not just RCs. I know their reason is this, and they took one pic and use it as a negetive thing toward them.
Brad is where he wants to be as well as Angie. But i think there must be a way to shut these monthly rumors about break up.they should try something maybe affectionate,maybe marriage. there must be some way. they must be tired by these monthly rumors as well. I’m sorry if you felt bad about my post.thank you for your respond.
Brad has shown more love to Angelina on the red carpet than with anyone else.I hope Brad shouldn’t feel the pressure to act a certain way to please the tabloids.He said he was staying up with the twins,its normal,so why should he hide it dj.Brad has talked about his love for Angelina alot so maybe some people have missed it.If Brad talked about his previous relationships,it didn’t help him because all those relations ended.If Brad acted a certain way in his previous relationship it didn’t help because the relationship ended.Brad has been so committed to Angelina than in any other relationship,out of the 4 days he went to promote BAR he has stayed by Angelina side in France.Brad is always with Angelina,what other relationship did he do that certainly not his last .
JJB – I really don’t even know what you’re talking about. 1 – Brad doesn’t owe anyone anything and doesn’t have to do a darn thing to make people happy. His job is an actor and he’s not obligated to put anyone’s mind at ease, the only people he needs to worry about are those in his family, not the rest of us.
And 2 – More affection on the red carpet? Are you kidding me? When Brad and Angie are on the red carpet they can hardly keep their hands off each other. If they show any more affection it’s going to become R-rated.
I’m confused as to whether you’re actually a fan or not.
I was more concerned this time because NE was trying to say they have heard it from some celebrity this time not from source. Perez was telling there is a strong rumor and you know it starts suddenly like birth of twins,and then their rep in an unusualy step denied these rumors soon. it was like 4 hourse in whole starting and finishing. I thought maybe it was just some media politics or something else. I think if Brad shows up on the RC with Angie all these rumors will end for some times.all we need right now is a pic of Angie and Brad together and happy. I think Brad should be more aware of media around himself. he better keep his other concerned out of RC’s pics so people wouldn’t use those pics as confirmation for break up. I think Brad should talk alittle more about his love for Angie and he should show alittle more affectionate toward Angie on the RC or when they are out. he was more of love showing when he was with his ex wife,this is why some people say they were more happy. although brad told he was unhappy at that time but those pics even two days before seperation can’t help his statement. I think he should show alittle more love toward Angie and talks about her alittle more when he gets a chance.just my opinion.

Sherry, tysm for talking sense. I love ur site. I agree, what self-respecting man would leave a woman with 6 children, 3 of which are his!
That would completely contradict the Brad we know and love. I am sure Angie can survive without Brad but I sense that Brad would have a hard time without her and the kids.
Some ppl are just plain stupid!
I guess I just don’t get all this stuff about this one rumor. After Shiloh, Brad did quite a few red carpets alone and the same nonesense was reported. After Shiloh and when they came back to the states, it was months until you saw her then, so why the hysteria now. I just don’t get why anyone takes the Enquirer seriously with this couple. It is like the marriage rumor that got out of hand. They did not respond to the rumor, they responded to a question and that is the only time you get answers.
They have six small children, she is nursing and there is no reason to be “seen” as they don’t live their lives for the tabloids or paparazzi. Reading the last few posts on the former thread were so odd to me. It was a rumor that came and went so fast I did not know anything about it. I stay away from most blogs, so ignorance is bliss. People never even mentioned it and neither did Access Hollywood and apparently the Enquirer took it down right away anyway. So, why all the worry now.
This site is usually a respite from the silliness that goes on about this couple and I thank you for being sane.
