Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie didn’t waste any time waiting to enjoy each other’s company. Once Angelina arrived in France from her trial visit at The Hague, she joined Brad for dinner at Michelangelo restaurant.
Brad looks pretty cheerful in the photos, and no wonder – he’s got a great-looking film debuting tomorrow at the Cannes Film Festival and Angelina is there to have a dinner date with him tonight followed by a red carpet walk tomorrow night. Who *wouldn’t* be happy?
In other news, there’s a new clip up on YouTube from Inglourious Basterds titled “Interrogation”. Please note there is some adult language in the clip so you may want to be careful where you watch it if you’re at work or around young children. As for me, it just makes me want to see it more! LadyDay- Well, the tabs already “report” about them having affairs several times of month.
Yes, Janet Jackson kept quiet, but she’s also, as far as I know, never been nearly as open as Angie and Brad.
Put it this way: If an interviewer or someone asked Angie and Brad directly if they were married, I don’t think they’d deny it if they really were.
Joliepittfanatic, I understand what you are saying, they are two I know they are open and might tell their closest friends but teling people may cause leaks to the press. Can you imagine the media circus it would be once they announce they are married. It’s bad now it would be 10x worst. Open or not they have to think of the kids. After they announce any kind of nuptuals, the media would be looking for the first new story. Who would be the first to announce a divorce or the first to show pictures of an affair. What household can stand such constant scrutiny? Keeping it secret is safer for the children. If Janet Jackson was able to keep her marriage secret for 10 years – we know its possible.
Oh, and may I ask why so many people think they may be secretly married? I mean, does that really sound like something they would do, considering how open they are? I’ve been curious about that for a long time! :)
Kati- I have a feeling that they’ll adopt again before getting pregnant again.
LadyDay- I doubt they’re secretly married. I can see them getting married without telling anybody, but I’d be really surprised if they kept quiet about it after the ceremony. As open as they both are (especially Angelina), I just don’t think they’d keep something like that a secret.
Also, maybe they’ll never decide to get married. If they do, I think we all need to accept that decision.

By the way, this is the first time we’re seeing pictures of them in a long time, so, assuming they’re not happy when we don’t know what goes on behind the cameras is too much of a stretch.

Seriously. Brad is always uncomfortable talking about his personal life, he has said in the past that it almost cheapens what he has to sit and talk about his family – Angie AND the kids. It’s nothing new. He’s there to promote a movie, not his relationship, the questions are supposed to be about the movie.
Brad and Angie are two of my favorite celebrities and they seem like genuinely nice people. However they don’t seem as happy as they have in the past. I saw the interview and when asked if he was happy he sidestepped the question and answered it a different way. something seems off, i truly hope I am wrong. Any thoughts?
I love that Brad told Ann Curry that he is “in the zone”. What a great description of his life now as compared to being “arm candy”. And he is so humble it makes me want to hug him.
About two years ago I started thinking and calling Brad and Angie a Power Couple and they sure have become that. Everyone was waiting for them to appear in Cannes. Hope they have a nice couple of days. I am also hoping that Brad wins best actor for his newest film IB. Thanks Sherry for the great job you do.
