I am a Brad Pitt fan for many reasons, personally and artistically — but what a big disappointment his Aldo was in Inglorious Basterds. I think his character was very poorly written, but also he just didn’t “get there.” This is a first for me to see him play a totally unbelievable character. On the other hand, a standing ovation to Christopher Waltz playing Col. Landa! I am eager to see Brad’s next movie, to wash away Aldo’s aftertaste quick!

irma- Good point! Brad and Angie have their “three-day” agreement (i.e., neither of them will be away from home for more than three days). That’s a big part of why I’m guessing he won’t go to Italy tomorrow.

Mary Ann – you are sooo right. Brad has reached a point in his life when he doesn´t have to impress anyone anymore. He can choose what he does and when he does it. The family is the most important thing in his (and naturally in Angie´s life too) at the moment. I´m pretty certain that if it would come to the point where both of them should choose between their careers as actors and family they would most definitely choose family. Brad and Angie are meant for each other and they both have brought up a totally new side in each other. Brad has for example changed Angie´s mind of having biological children and Angie has given Brad a family he yearned for for years with Jennifer Aniston. And she has also made him to quit smoking. I really wish that this beautiful relationship keeps growing and that they have more children. God bless them always!

If he is getting ready film that could be the reason for the facial hair. If not, then possibly it is because he is happy and content and is just doing his own thing. Brad needs not to impress anyone these days and maybe Angie is happy that he has reached that point in his life. A family, that is really all cares about. They come first.

Lisa – although I´m Finnish I really wish that Brad would be there for IB´s Italian premiere so that all you Italian fans would be happy to see him. But I have my doubts since he´s been doing some heavy promotion work for IB all spring and early summer. And even though he and the family have been spending a lot of time in France recently having a much deserved family time Brad sure want to attend some of those European premieres too. Spain and Italy are so close to France that he can easily fly for the premiere and fly back home right after the premiere. Angie sure won´t mind IF he chooses to attend the Italian premiere. She knows that he´ll be back soon and she trusts Brad 100%. I really wish that if Brad goes to Italy he would take Angie with him. God bless the JPs!

neer – I sooo agree with you. Brad´s eyes are really glowing in thse pics. So he truly is happy and content in his lfe & his family. These weeks the family has spent in France have made wonders to him and to the whole family I´m sure. He and Angie don´t care at all what those rags back in States write about them now (or have written and will unfortunately always be writing) about their alleged break-up. They are very much together and in love. Every minute he spent in Spain sure was an agony to him because it meant that all that time was away from his family. He loves them all so much that he just can´t imagine his life without them anymore. God bless the Jolie-Pitts forever!

Keats- I saw that picture, too, and you have a good point. The movie probably won’t start shooting for awhile, but Brad probably had to start growing the beard now, as it takes awhile to grow a beard that bushy and long.
