Are you ready to scrub up with Brad Pitt?

Awhile back, I wrote about how Brad Pitt teamed up with Kiehl’s for their Aloe Vera Biodegradable Liquid Body Cleanser. The product is now available and should sell pretty well with a a nice photo of Brad to attract attention! How many women do you suppose will be more than happy to buy a body wash he endorses? Now you can take Brad into your shower!
In other news, we now know the question as to where Brad has been while Angelina Jolie was in the U.S. to present Clint Eastwood with his award at the Hollywood Film Festival. Naturally, the rumor mongers and tabloids said that clearly Brad and Angelina were splitting up, since they were spending so much time apart. After all, Brad has been in Berlin, filming Inglourious Basterds, right? Well, they must feel silly this morning because Brad has also been in Los Angeles, he just managed to avoid paparazzi for awhile for a change.
He was spotted – and photographed – leaving an office building in Hollywood on Sunset Boulevard. He got into his car and left, managing to only attract a small amount of camera attention.
You can see some photos of Brad Pitt in his car in L.A. over here.

So once again the gossip mongers are soooo wrong. They do almost everything to split Brad and Angie. Maybe Brad didn´t want to attend the award gala because he was busy taking care of the children. It seems that Quentin Tarantino has given Brad a week or two of work so that he can take care of the children and spend some quality time with Angelina too. Probably the whole clan were in LA while she was in Afganistan. So eat your heart out, stupid rags! Brad and Angie are here to stay!
I love it when this happens! The press is so determined to claim the Jolie-Pitt split. Brad and Angie proved them to be wrong again!!!
Exciting about the new Liquid Body Cleanser!! I will definitely be purchasing that!!!
Has anyone seen the new W magazine with the pictures of Angie taken by Brad? I have been surprised that nothing has been mentioned of the photos. They are beautiful!!
I love all the levels of the whole thing. I think it’s brilliant that the ad campaign shows Brad walking in the Lower 9th Ward – keeping the Katrina survivors in the public’s eye.
I’ll buy it for sure!
I’LL buy it also. Standing in line today and the headline I was looking kind of said, Brad will not marry Angie now because she hurt Jen again by saying they were involved before his divorce. Guess it is a good thing they don’t read these dumb headlines.
There is a photo of Brad flying away this morning from LA on Popsugar!!!
Sorry it was him coming to LA on justjured!!!
Mustache. Cuuute!
he’s yummy.
Wash me up baby, I’m in! Woo Hoo!
I think the whole family will spend Halloween in L.A. I don’t think trick or treat and Halloween costumes are done in Germany. I also think they are here so they can vote. There are some propositions in California that they are supporting.
With that photo on the commercial he really will keep NO in the limelight. He´s done a great work by helping the people of NO to cope with their losses. I also believe that the whole family will spend Halloween in LA and head back to Berlin next week or even later.
LOL
Why is it that they are 2 seconds apart and people start the countdown till they announce they are separating? BUT he and Jen managed 6 + months apart and the same people swore that their marriage was strong. That it’s normal for a wife to be shopping and lunching with her friends whilst her husband was alone and working halfway across the world!
Well, if I can’t have the real thing, I may as well try to have his body cleanser, he he he.
I wish the tabloids can cease to exist and let the real publications take lead!
I did not know the world had so many psychics!
Geez people let the Jolie-Pitts be, and that is happy together as a family who have great love and admiration for each other.
Yes, I will buy the body wash also!
Lucy, my siblings live in Germany, both have small kids, and Halloween is an up and coming thing being imported from the US. Second, as far as voting…that can be done EARLY or from abroad. So, not sure either one of these things would keep the Jolie-Pitts in LA right now
To all who celebrate Happy Halloween
Does anyone know for sure that all the Jolie-Pitts are here in the states?
Rita, I don’t think they celebrate Halloween in Germany on US bases they do to keep the American tradition but not off base.
Where can we buy that liquid body cleanser?
God bless the Jolie-Pitt’s.
irma, perhaps you should tell that then to my nieces and nephews, who went trick-or-treating today in 2 big cities in Germany. Like I said, perhaps it doesn’t happen everywhere, but there are kids in the big cities trick-or-treating
Happy Halloween wherever it’s celebrated!
Did you know that it’s now the 2nd most celebrated holiday in the U.S., after Xmas? I read Jennifer Love Hewitt and her fiance are dressing up as Brad and Angie, bwahahahahaa.
A recap of just 8 raves from Cannes:
• Kim Voynar, Cinematical;
• James Christopher, Times: I shall eat the next person who tells me that Angelina Jolie cannot act.
• Roger Friedman, Fox News: Jolie is riveting.
• Gareth Owen: Angelina Jolie, in a career best performance,
• Angelina Jolie who has never been this compelling,” writes Mike Goodridge in Screen Daily.
• Somecamerunning: Jolie’s performance as Collins is one of her best in years
• Todd McCarthy in Daily Variety called her performance “top notch.”
• And Kurt Honeycutt wrote in the Hollywood Reporter, “Jolie puts on a powerful emotional display.”
Currently:
Peter Travers, Rolling Stone: Angelina Jolie is a force of nature as Christine Collins, a single mother whose nine-year-old son, Walter, goes missing while she’s at work supervising a telephone switchboard. There are times when Changeling seems like science fiction. Christine’s battle for her rights and, by extension, the rights of all women becomes a personal crusade. Though Changeling recalls Chinatown and L.A. Confidential in its indictment of a system decaying from the inside, it’s the human drama that pulls us in, to the haunting strains of Eastwood’s resonant score. Jolie is inspired casting. She plays the role like a gathering storm, moving from terror to a fierce resolve. In saluting the warrior in Christine, star and director have made a mesmerizing film that burns in the memory.
Kenneth Turan, L.A. Times: Yet as that police pressure increases, Collins refuses to buckle. Instead, she gets increasingly frantic, wild that time that could be spent finding her son is being squandered, and it is this edge of anxiety that is the heart of Jolie’s deeply felt performance. Dealing with the recent death of her own mother and herself a mother with several children, Jolie brings emotional desperation to a role she quite possibly connected to in ways she wished she hadn’t.

Rita, you are right. About 15 years ago the toy industry systematically introduced Halloween to Germany, and trick and treating has become a normal thing now as well over here the past few years. My children and I went trick or treating today in Munich, and the streets were filled with little “scary” figures! So, yes, it is done over here, too!
UNDER MOD x 2:
Happy Halloween wherever it’s celebrated!
Peter Travers/Rolling Stone and Kenneth Turan/L.A. Times on Angelina….
Angie is in the cover of the latest PEOPLE mag talking about her trip to Afganistan.
Roger Ebert: Jolie plays Christine Collins without unnecessary angles or quirks. She reacts to her son’s disappearance as any mother would. But as weeks turn into months, and after the phony “son” is produced, her anger and resolution swells up until it brings the whole LAPD fabrication crashing down.
David Ansen, NEWSWEEK: How the tenacious Collins took on the L.A. political establishment forms the backbone of the story. Once you get over the distractions of her fame and beauty, Jolie plays her with admirable restraint and slow-burning ferocity. If “Changeling” were fiction, you’d accuse it of being over the top, and it just gets more baroque when the Collins case intersects with that of a serial killer.
Lou Lumenick, NY Post: ANGELINA Jolie is in Oscar-caliber form as a woman who takes on corrupt cops in 1928 Los Angeles in Clint Eastwood’s very dark, fact-based and beautifully crafted “Changeling.” Jolie’s attention-grabbing work here will inevitably be compared with “A Mighty Heart,” in which she disappeared into the role of Mariane Pearl, widow of Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl. Neither woman is a victim, but Christine more openly suffers than the stoic Mariane. And Jolie gives a big, movie star performance that rivets your attention for nearly 2½ hours.
William Arnold, Seattle Post-Intelligencer: Jolie’s starring role as a noble woman whose family member has been kidnapped is, on the surface, very similar to her character in last year’s “A Mighty Heart.” But she’s not hiding behind an accent here, and she gives what may be her strongest, least-mannered performance to date — as well as her most graceful star turn.
The Onion – A.V. Club: Eastwood creates a tone that’s at once stately and unsettling, allowing a lot of breathing room for Jolie’s sad, unyielding performance. She anchors a film that needs an anchor the further it goes along. Changeling works at once as a compelling mystery and an agonizing human drama…Why admit a mistake when their version of the facts solves the case and gets Jolie a son back, whether he’s really hers or not? (That she’s up against all-male antagonists, for whom words like “hysteria” provide all the explanation they need to ignore her, is never mentioned but hard to ignore.)
Mick LaSalle, SF Chronicle: Jolie is a creature of the screen, as strange looking as an alien from the planet Movie Star, but emotionally ready, present and understated. She never grandstands; she just delivers…For the benefit of the press, Christine persuades herself that the changeling is the real thing. This is an unlikely turn. Why would a mother choose to believe that a strange boy is her child? The answer is in Jolie and Eastwood’s complete understanding of the scene’s emotional dynamics. Christine is disoriented. She is disappointed as few have ever been disappointed. She is still in that halfway zone between receiving bad news and not wanting to believe it. And so, in that moment of vulnerability, she accepts this kid, who looks nothing like her child, as her so. The story touches on the respective differences in status between men and women in this earlier time.
J.R. Jones, Chicago Reader: This incredible but true story marks the first time Eastwood’s signature themes have found expression in a woman’s experience, and the absence of any distracting machismo only heightens his sense of helpless rage at the perpetual anguish of victims’ families.

Wow he’s looks good there! I will feel Angelina this weekend since my hubby bought me a gorgeous diamond necklace from http://www.idonowidont.com that looks like the one Angie wore at the oscars.
So I can look chic and glam for our night out at the opera, My hubby is as romantic as Brad!
Regarding some of the “other” critics like Liz Braun, etc:
I understand “honest” comments about the conflict some critics have with Angie when she is doing serious roles; that it is hard to look past the real life phenomenon of Angelina Jolie to see only the character she is playing. But one thing these same critics glaringly understate is that, objectively, Angie’s craft is high caliber work. Perspective often shifts with time and I believe that when Angie reaches, say, middle age and the present day context of her activism and hyper-celebrity has shifted a retrospective of her past work will be seen with more generosity. As for me, I’d pay to watch her read the telephone book.
BlessBrangelina- I hear you! Not only did the tabs not make a peep when Brad and Jen spent six plus months apart, but there are plenty of other celeb couples who spend more time apart than Brad and Angie that don’t get mentioned in the tabs.
Also, I wish the tabs would realize that:
1. In all likelyhood, Angie and Brad won’t be getting married anytime soon, if at all. They have both made it clear that they have both been through at least one marriage before, and they don’t feel the need to do it again. In fact, Angie has said that if they DO get married, it will probably be because the kids ask them to!
and
2. Angie never, I repeat, NEVER said that she and Brad were involved before the divorce. What she said was “Not many people get to see the movie where their parents fell in love”. Falling in love and actually being involved with someone are two different things! Angie and Brad have both said multiple times that, although they developed feelings for each other during the filming of Mr. and Mrs. Smith, they did not act on those feelings until Brad and Jen made the decision to dissolve their marriage. Even Jen has said that she doesn’t think there was any cheating (and I doubt she’d say something like that unless she honestly thought it!).
Also, the tabs really, and I mean REALLY, need to stop painting Jen as the “victim”. I’m sure she’s sick and tired of it! She clearly moved on a long time ago. Oh, and speaking of that, I read bits and pieces of last week’s US Weekly (my one weakness when it comes to tabs!) at the library, and they had an article about Angie’s recent interviews, naturally pouncing all over the comment she made about Mr. and Mrs. Smith.
I had to chuckle at two things:
They mentioned Angie’s comment about Mad being the “professional big brother” and how he might have the chance to be a big brother yet again as early as January, citing Angie’s comment about how she plans to adopt again but you can’t start the process until any new children are six months old.
Even if the J-Ps DO begin the adoption process as soon as the twins turn six months old (which will be in January), the process will likely take close to a year to complete, just as it did with Pax. Therefore, Mad probably won’t be a big brother again until late next year at the absolute earliest. Why do the tabs think that Angie can just adopt a child in a day or two.
The other thing I had to chuckle at was that, on the cover they proclaimed, “Angelina stabs Jen in the Heart!”…Yet, in the actual article, quoted one of Jen’s friends as saying that Jen is “numb” to Angie’s Mr. and Mrs. Smith comment and that “she has so moved on”. Congratulations, US! You succesfully contridicated yourself!
I have seen some stupid tabloid headlines on the internet but I gave up to read them in detail for a long time ago. Also, I don’t go to some gossip sites (JJ, Perez or D-listed etc). So, I don’t waste of my time on stupid JP news or haters.
Of course, tabloids know JP will not mary or adopt in the near future or JP will break-up. But unfourtunately, it seems that these news still sell. I am sure there are many people who just want to believe these bad news about JP because if you visit many gossip sites there are a lot of sick people and they spend their times by attacking celebrities. I believe that they don’t their own lifes. This is a kind of supply&demand relation. When people will stop to give so much attention to JP news, tabloid will also give up.
One month ago, some people said that Angie&Brad used their child for movie promotion. Now, we can’t see any of their children but the same people want to know where are the kids now? They again attacked Angie&Brad because they don’t see their kids and they made up many fantasy stories. They left their children in Germany blah blah…
No win-win situation for them.

Correction, margaritam. It is a no win situation for us fans. As for the Jolie-Pitts, they have bigger fish to fry.
