On day two of his shoot for Japanese cell phone company Softbank, Brad Pitt was seen carrying a sumo wrestler! Now there’s an unexpected twist if I’ve ever seen one. The Softbank commercials are always so quirky, I am dying to see what this one looks like when it’s all done!
The second day of shooting took place in the Midtown area of New York City once again. With the assistance of some special wires, Brad lifts the sumo wrestler up, helping him out in some way.
Considering the first shoot showed that Brad was holding an umbrella over the wrestler’s head, I wonder if he ends up carrying him over a puddle to prevent wet feet!
In the previous post, reader Vanilla commented to let me know that the sumo wrestler is Yokozuna Musashimaru a Grand Champion who hails from Hawaii.

SHAVEN OR NOT HE STILL LOOKS GOOD.
Sherry can you post the link of Brad’s short video in his trailer while shooting the commercial for the cell phone & behind Brad you can see Angie. Some fans from JJ posted the links, it is under the latest Brad’s thread # 380. I just don’t know how to do it. Let’s have a debate wether it is Angie or not. Fans at JJ are getting worse every hour. A new poster has arrived for Inglourious Basterds featuring Brad Pitt’s character, Lt. Aldo Raine. I have to say, Pitt wears the neck scar very nicely.

Angelina Jolie, Victoria Beckham and Anne Hathaway have designed jewellery for an auction featuring celebrity memorabilia that will benefit the Prince’s Trust and other charities.
Kate Winslet, Jennifer Lopez, Penelope Cruz and Ricky Gervais have also designed jewellery or added autographs to the collection, which will be previewed at auction house Bonhams in New Bond Street, London next Tuesday.
Following the display, the exhibits will return to New York before being auctioned at Bonhams and Butterfields in Los Angeles on May 28.
Half of the proceeds of the auction, which is being organised by Los Angeles-based charity auction campaign Stars For A Cause, will go to charities chosen by the participating stars.
The other half will go to the Prince’s Trust, which helps young people develop confidence, motivation and skills to find work.
Other jewellery items include designs from Charlize Theron, Goldie Hawn and Miley Cyrus, while Sir Ben Kingsley has designed a pair of cuff-links.
Also up for auction are a Balthazar and Methuselah of Moet & Chandon champagne signed by Colin Farrell, Susan Sarandon and Gervais as well as limited-edition posters for the Golden Globe Awards autographed by Brad Pitt, Jolie, Tom Hanks, Sigourney Weaver and Winslet.

irma & joliepittfanatic – I agree with both of you. Brad really looks a bit like both Shi AND Knox in these photos. These photos are just gorgeous. He looks so handsome in that suit and his face looks really devine without that facial hair. He should keep it like that until Cannes. He sure had a lot of fun filming this commercial. Hope to see new photos of the whole JP clan soon. God bless the JPs!

Mary Ann- My guess is that some people just plain prefer Brad clean shaven (I know a lot of people weren’t exactly thrilled when he had that ‘stache for Inglorious Basterds!) and would like to see him that way at Cannes.
That said, I agree with you. Brad should go with whatever is most comfortable for him.

gena- I don’t agree with that line, either. Brad probably just wants to pamper Angie a bit while she’s working.
Also, am I the only one who h8tes the fact that the tabs constantly make it seem like Angie is somehow controlling Brad? I mean, they make it seem like she drags him around the world with her and forces new children on him. They also tend to say things like, “Angie forced Brad to stay,” when their spilt stories get proven wrong and they’re trying to cover up their lies.
I forgot, the fan posted the link at JJ. Glad that Brad is on the list of the 100 most influential, it will be a lot better & exciting if Angie made it too. Angie is the best wether she is on the list or not.God bless the Jolie-Pitt’s. So many people love them.
One of the Brangelina fans posted a link of Brad being interviewed inside his trailer while on a break of shooting the cell phone commercial & on the background at the mirror you can see Angie sitting down but her back was facing the camera, you can tell it was Angie.It was a very quick shot.

I think Brad looks sooo much better clean shaven. He is such a attractive man and why cover up that handsome face with a bunch of ugly facial hair? I think the beard/goatee/mustache made him look older and more “worn out”. He’s a hunk and Angie is sooo lucky to have him in her life.
He looks like he is having a good time with the commercial..bet it is funny cuz Brad has a goofy playful side that tends to come out when he has the opportunity to let his true nature show..Ha Ha.. can’t wait to see it..hope it airs here in the USA..

Congratulations to Brad for being included in the Time 100 list under the “Builders & Titans” category. Very nice write-up by James Carville & his wife Mary Matalin about his work in NOLA.
I’m so glad Brad & Angie found each other. They have accomplished more in the years they have been together than most people accomplish in a lifetime.
Great pictures. But, I wonder why so many want Brad to remain clean shaven until Cannes. When Brad is on his own time and just wants to be comfortable what is wrong with just being casual? Most people I know dress down and then dress up to go out for important occasions.
