Brad Pitt donates to defeat gay marriage opponents

Brad Pitt has donated $100K of his own money to defeat opponents of the recent gay marriage ruling in California. Here’s what he had to say:

“Because no one has the right to deny another their life, even though they disagree with it, because everyone has the right to live the life they so desire if it doesn’t harm another and because discrimination has no place in America, my vote will be for equality and against Proposition 8,” Pitt said Wednesday.

Honestly, they’re not hurting anyone – stop wasting time trying to defeat stuff like this and go do something useful, like, hmm, I don’t know, bail out a few credit card companies or something.
