You can only wave a camera at a man so many times before it gets on his nerves. Brad Pitt was spotted driving with his brother Doug in Los Angeles (perhaps he was in town for Maddox’s birthday) – spotted by X17Online, the same people that gave him a lift home last month and then attempted to all but interview him when he was in the car.
I guess that they were shouting and hollering his name as they tend to do to get his attention, and Brad finally had enough, giving X17 the finger.
I can totally cut him some slack; if people were screaming my name every time I left my home I’d probably have MANY days where I’d do the same thing. A finger isn’t as bad as getting physical or screaming obscenities in public at least!

“Immensely house-proud, Pitt takes me on a tour of his property—two early 20th-century Craftsman houses, a kids’ playhouse, two pools, and an artificial waterfall that conceals a secret stone grotto. The last, he confides, “is a great place for sex.” The entire property is walled with fences and hedges and overlooks the city.
He shows me the two-room master suite he created out of stone and elegant hardwood paneling. The bathroom is marble, including the tub and toilet. “There’s something about stone that feels so nice,” he says. “Everything in this house is custom-made. I went crazy.”
The bedroom’s design is austere, paneled in walnut. There is a king-size platform bed and, nearby, framed photographs of the family.
As we leave the house, we run into Jolie and two of the children. Pitt introduces me, and she smiles. Jolie is wearing a black body stocking and an enormous yellow clown wig. The two little girls with her, Zahara and Shiloh, jump up and down and squeal with delight at seeing their dad. Their hair is dyed blue, and they have washable dye stains on their hands. “We’ve been to the party costume store,” Jolie explains. She giggles and fluffs her wig with her hands like a flirtatious Mae West, and we laugh.”

My fave words & phrases from Brad’s Parade interview:
1) “I have love in my life, a soul mate–absolutely.”
The keys words here are LOVE, SOUL MATE & ABSOLUTELY. Without a doubt Brad said this with certainty, hence the word “absolutely”. He is certain that his other half who is the love in his life & who happens to be the mother of his children is his soul mate, someone he has the ultimate connection with. He said this with conviction as he allowed this feeling to be known to the public. He’s just very proud to say that to express the happiness he’s feeling inside.
This also reminds me of AJ’s quote, “It should be about that kind of depth of understanding you can have with another person. It goes beyond the superficial & the physical. I find it very sensual when a couple can look deeply into each other’s souls & hearts. There are very few people who can hold me in a way, to look at them & talk to me. And make me cry, and to talk to me about my life & say, ‘ I believe in you ’ .”
2) “[It's] a great place for sex.”
Surprisingly, Brad is so honest this time to share a little of his intimate moments with AJ. Usually, his answers are not on specifics but more on general terms. Like he said previously, “It’s a lot of work, and sometimes it’s a challenge for Mom & Dad to carve out time on their own. But we manage – Mom and Dad can be quite creative if they want to be.” And another,”Yes we make time for ourselves. It’s very important for every relationship” & “That’s a trade secret! ” Nevertheless, whatever way he divulged his sexual intimacy with AJ, I still find his answers just enough. Not vulgar.
AJ also said about their sex life during her pregnancy, “I’ve heard people say it’s bad for the sex life. No, I think it’s quite the opposite. It’s great for the sex life. It just makes you a lot more creative. So you have fun, and as a woman you’re just so round and full.” And another, “….I happen to be with somebody who finds pregnancy very sexy. So that makes me feel very sexy.”.
Hence, we could say this couple is possibly mutual in satisfying & enjoying each other’s sexual needs.
3) “You have to recognize real love when it’s there and know that in going after it there is always risk…. That’s also true when you decide to have kids. It’s the risk you take for love.”
When Brad began chasing AJ in 2005, he knew the risk he had taken. He knew what the people would say etc. In spite of this, he fought for his love & find his happiness. I guess, he’s saying now, it’s all worth it. Big time. And he’s glad he followed the dictate of his heart.
As AJ also aptly said, “I think we both went on a lot of faith – we really did. Our family has grown very quickly, and we have a lot of responsibility together, and we acknowledge that we are lucky we turned out to be everything we’d hoped. We could have been very wrong, but every challenge we hit has brought us closer together. It has been that kind of relationship.” AJ who initially didn’t have plans of having bio-kids but changed her mind in the name of love.
4) “…As Angie and I carve out our time as a couple, we carve out our lives as individuals.”
Both AJ & BP love & understand each other so much that they know where they stand in each other’s lives & that’s enough reason to minimize unnecessary drama. It helps that they are both not clingy. They allow each other to pursue separate interests & hobbies so that at the end of the day, they have more to share with each other. We could see that they support each other. They enhance & definitely not belittle or discourage each other.

Thanks for this new thread, Sherry! It was really cool to see Brad giving a finger to those paparazzis. He has been too patient with those guys for too long. I totally feel sorry for him. He was driving his car with his brother Doug in tow while those damn paparazzis hit again. They should have given the Pitt brothers some privacy. But no. They´re always there. wonder what Doug was thinking. It seems that he was in LA celebrating his nephew´s b-day and wanted to go out with his older brother the next day. Hopefully the older Pitts were there too to celebrate Maddox´s birthday.

Tsk. Kim, if you aren’t doing it right then you just need more practice. Come visiting my area – driving in Quebec will give you more than enough opportunities to extend your middle finger and you’ll have it down within an hour or so.

Caroline – A law was passed (I believe it was last summer but I’m a Canadian so don’t quote me on California laws) banning the use of cell phones while driving unless you have a hands-free device like a Bluetooth earpiece. The same law was actually passed in many places, including my own province. Some people have said that it looks like Brad was actually stopped when he was talking, hard to tell.

Tina – I’m not surprised that Shania’s doing so well. She’s definitely beautiful but she’s also Canadian so she’s probably got a lot of loyal Canucks voting for her in a Canadian magazine’s poll :)

but everyone in his right mind could figure that the rumors are not true….for example take the rumor that they argue about how to raise the kids etc……replace the word argue with discuss then its a very reasonable thing to do and ALL parents do this. then i see this pic of Angie and Brad at McDonalds and she points her finger at him? thats what i hate with pics…..she could have said: “ok sweety i would like ONE (thats the part with the finger) coke or ONE burger or whatsoever. but no she MUST be angry at him….tsssss
but i am always sceptical when it comes to magazines like Hello talking about celebs as if they actually knew them. sure – Angie and Brad give Interviews, but they didn’t give any interview about the recent subject, the break up rumors. i think i mentionned it before, but i don’t believe ONE WORD these mags say, even if its good news. Hello CAN’T know whats going on in Angies and Brads life. they just can’t. writting such stuff is just focusing onm the fact that there MIGHT be problems in the Braneglina relationship. instead of just ignoring these stupid rumors the mag supports this with printing such stories. its great that they write good things about them, but it doesn’t make the situation better. they should just leave them in peace,

I love it, a man of few words. I love it because even though he is a great father and all around great fellow human being, he has this lovely raw masuline, naughty side too! Like his comment about their special grotto! Liking him alittle on the raw manly, manly side. That one finger salute is universal sign language that most people can read. I bet I can count on 1 finger and figure out what he meant by that sign. It had to be done! LOL!!!

I bet Brad was fed up with all the stupid paps using his pics at the Berlin Ingorious Basterds party ( which he was gone only 3 days) to give to all these rag mags. Which they are all using them saying he is a drunk and flirting , Angie and kids are suffering etc. That is probably the real reason he flipped them off, gosh the man is a family man that is obvious , everyone goes to a party once in a while and they are painting him as being a bad father and husband . YOu go Brad, flip them off again!

I think he gets extra mad when he’s with members of his family during ‘private-time’; I think he feels extra mad during such times because he feels he is responsible for the event and cannot protect those closest to him. It’s all about how seriously he takes, what he thinks of, as his responsibilities.

Jacqueline- My thoughts exactly! Also, as far as I know, Doug Pitt isn’t a celeb. Therefore, Brad probably feels really bad when he is with Doug and the paps snap photos of them, since Doug obviously isn’t used to all that (obviously I’m sure Doug realizes that he has to expect things like the paps when he visits the J-Ps, but still!)!

gypsy- What’s funny about the “bad husband” thing, is that he actually isn’t married (well, not legally, anyway. Obviously Angie and Brad are pretty much married in our eyes. :))! That said, I doubt that’s why Brad flipped the bird at them, as he and Angie have both repeteadly said that they don’t pay attention to the tabs.
