By special request, here’s a video clip of Brad Pitt talking about Angelina Jolie with E! News at the premiere of The Curious Case of Benjamin Button last month.
In the clip, Giuliana Rancic tells Brad that she gasped when she saw how beautiful Angelina looked that evening, and Brad joked that he sometimes gasps when he sees her in the mornings when he wakes up.
I liked his honesty at the end of the clip; Giuliana asked him if he and Angie tried to teach the kids the less materialistic side of the holiday season. Brad smiled and said sort of, but that they still like to get a toy, just like any kid does.
LoL i smiled when Brad said he still gasps in the morning. =]
I know this is probably only remotely relevant but remember when Angie took Brad to Falling Waters for his birthday gift in 2006. Well I’m building Falling waters for my history project on Frank Lloyd Wright. I have no idea how I’m going to build it but I will attempt it. Well anyways just a little info on my life you probably did not need to know.
These kind of statements are what endear me to this actor. He is so down-to-earth, really just nice. I am sure he is human enough to have some annoying habits, but his personality makes him so much more attractive than just his looks or his movie roles could alone.
I can’t imagine waking up with Angie by your side. Brad is such a lucky man it makes it more wonderful because they are both remarkable people & with a big heart. Passerby, Brad & Angie’s picture in front of Frank Llody’s building is one of my favorite pictures of them.God bless the Jolie-Pitt’s.

It is funny to remember my first few Christmases. We had maybe one toy,but really looked forward to the stockings. We had oranges and apples and ribbon candy! Now one is expected to get everything for everybody. So much has been taken from the Day,that I am amazed people even celebrate it. With all the kids, I would imagine these good parents would also tone it down to just a few things. They are both so good looking and nice, it is hard for me not to gasp at them at times.

I would gasp if I woke up next to either of them! But I think that is a very sweet sentiment. And there is nothing like waking up next to the one you love.

I remember a man (can’t remember who) said “a woman is only considered beautiful if she gets out of bed looking beautiful even without any make-up on”. Now that is a really tough definition of “beauty”! What Brad said about Angie is so sweet!
I think it’s cute that he said that. I can’t imagine that she looks anything other than gorgeous even just wakeing up in the morning, messy hair and no make-up.

goodness! really! if i we’re the one waking up with both brad and angie on my side (i imagine it evrytime, ;P) i will not just gasps! probably i would stay still for hours! and my heartbeat would go wacko! and i think i will have a nervous breakdown! LOL!
but anyways.. i love them both.. brad is such a sweet person and you could see how his eyes sparkle whenever his talking about angie and the kids.. his really a great man.. i rspect him for that..

While reading Paris Hilton’s interview about wishing Angelina to be her best friend, at first I had mixed reactions. I didn’t know if she’s serious or what. Considering her negative reputation & the superficial/ shallow image she projects in public, my initial reaction was, “she didn’t know what she’s talking about….Only in her dreams…..She’s just kidding or using her just to be in the news…. I don’t believe anything she says…”
On the other hand, I could sense PH really wanted to change her life & to look up to someone who can be a good role model to her. I felt she needed to surround herself with people who can bring positive influence to her life & help her become a better person. She knows AJ was able to turn her life around successfully from her wild, experimental & adventurous life to what she is today, to what she has become – a respected actress & great humanitarian. She knows AJ is able to balance her life, that of being a popular celebrity as well as a family woman & activist.
AJ’s past destructive ways is what I think PH is referring to, what she has in common with her. She’s making her an inspiration to find life’s purpose, that if AJ could do it, why can’t she? Of course she can but she has to realize it has to begin with her own self. She has to distinguish what is trivial & significant in life. Sure, inspiration & admiration is nice but in order for others to help her & to give positive influence in her life, she has to help herself first. She has to set her priorities. Find her sense of purpose & the sense to be useful.
PH is very consistent in expressing her admiration for AJ. She has made statements before, saying how much she admires AJ. PH & other celebrities such as Drew Barrymore, Jessica Simpson, Lindsay Lohan, Anne Hathaway, etc. are inspired by AJ’s unprecedented change. It’s actually a compliment for her. Interestingly, AJ found the drive to better her life when she witnessed firsthand the difficulties suffered by refugees & other unfortunate people she has spent time with during her travels. It changed her opinion on everything—on life, her values & especially her own sense of self. For AJ, she can’t complain with her own problems anymore as there are many people who have much bigger concerns, yet these people taught her courage, survival, friendship & love.
So, with that being said, PH can discover herself how to improve her life & start by asking, “WHAT DO I REALLY WANT IN LIFE?”

neer: I like how you approached the PH statement too. I also hope that PH is authentic and wants to change her life for the better. She could benefit from committing herself to causes that are important to her. So AJ is a good inspiration to work from
neer- Good observation, and my guess is that PH DOES look up to Angie and wants to change her life. She (PH, I mean) has been doing some charity/humanatarin work lately, and I’m guessing Angie was a huge part of her inspiration to do so.
He is so down to earth! God you can’t help but love him lol. You can tell that he is honest in his replies and tells you straight what he thinks without trying to pretty it up.
Btw neer, you make such a good point! I hadn’t looked at it that way until I read your comment. Earlier I had written a reaction to Paris’ comment saying she’s out of her mind to say that they have something in common but your right that they do. Hopefully she can be more like Angie in the future and use her fame and money for a good cause.
