Brad Pitt’s Make It Right Foundation is ready to proceed with building another 90 homes in New Orleans – now we know why the Jolie-Pitt family headed straight to New Orleans after New York. The announcement for the new homes was made at a special charity reception.
Also, we all remember when Brad Pitt appeared on American Idol Gives Back – with all the money that was raised from that event, a portion went to Make It Right. That’s such great news.
I’m so excited to hear about more homes being built for the people who are STILL displaced after Hurricane Katrina.
Meanwhile, there are some great photos of Angelina Jolie, Maddox, and Pax in the Lower Ninth Ward over here!

It’s wonderful to hear that Brad Pitt’s foundation is working to assist all those people who lost their homes due to Hurricane Katrina. Bless Brad Pitt and his wonderful international family for helping others to this degree. And thanks for posting such positive news, Sherry. It really does a make a difference.
Great News! Also wanted to mention to everyone the “Ellen” show has donated tons towards the Make It Right Foundation. She is from that area and has been a strong promoter to the project. She has a link to the foundation on her web page. If memory serves me correctly she collected over $1M for Brad’s cause. It’s awesome to see his project doing well and helping so many!
There are pics of Angie and the kids (Pax and Mad) visiting some of the MIR homes with Brad.
So proud of Brad and Angie. Brad has done well. He has put his love of archet. to good use and helped the people of the lower 9th. Think we will take a trip to NO this summer to see the site. Maybe during Spring break.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt Visit Lower Ninth Ward
Leaving most of their brood back home, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt were spotted out and about with sons Pax, 4, and Maddox, 7, on Tuesday (October 7). The “Mr and Mrs Smith” co-star couple were paying a visit to the Lower Ninth Ward Housing project in New Orleans – making sure that everything’s going according to plan.

!Viva PDA! :girlish swoon:
Those photos of Angie and Brad cuddling are absolutely beautiful. In that way they – once again – show the whole world that the American tabloids are wrong about their ´break-up´. They are more in love than EVER! That closeness and love is easy to see. Also the boys seem to be enjoying themselves. Just look at the happy face of both Mad and Pax. They seem to be thriving just like their mum and dad. This visit obviously was the boys´ day-out with mum and dad. Next time it´ll hopefully be the girls. And in a year we´ll hopefully see the twins out more often with the rest of the family. Can´t wait for the pictures on next issue of W. They must be wonderful. After all they are taken by proud papa Brad.
Love the pictures of Angie and Brad snuggling, but my favourite is the one of Angie carrying a sleeping Pax.
I’m just amazed to see the house redoer Holmes from the show Holmes on Homes. He is just great for what he does to correct mistakes other people have made. BP you keep impressing me with the people you call upon to help. God bless and keep you and your family.
Very proud of him and his effort.
