This is a cute story that I’ve seen floating around – I haven’t confirmed it as officially true yet, but it sure is adorable.
Allegedly, after Brad Pitt lost out for Best Actor at the Oscars, with Sean Penn winning instead, Axe (yes, the deodorant/cologne company) send him a chocolate statue bust carved in Brad’s likeness. The statue was sent with a note saying, “We still feel your performance deserves a statue, one that’s a bit sweeter.”
Isn’t that hilarious? I’m not sure how I would react to a giant chocolate shaped like my head – this one is apparently made of dark chocolate and weighed in at ten pounds.
Axe has been using chocolate statuettes for publicity so they just shipped one especially to Brad in solidarity for his performance in The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.
So far I haven’t heard of any other nominees receiving chocolate! If this story is true, it sure makes me smile.

Ha ha! I wonder if this story is true. But if it is it´s really hilarious. The children must have been thrilled. They sure ate it faster than anyone could count to three. But I doubt that this story is another rag fabrication.
