“Brad, look out!” That was the warning given to Brad Pitt by Leonard Nimoy live from Jimmy Fallon’s studio.
With the promotion of the new Star Trek movie running rampant lately, both Leonard Nimoy who was the original Spock and Zachary Quinto who plays the younger Spock were on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon.
At one point, Zachary turned to Leonard and spilled the beans about Angelina Jolie’s affection:
“I had the pleasure around Academy Awards season to meet Angelina Jolie at a party and she said, and this will make you feel good, ‘I’ve always been in love with the real Mr Spock’.”
Leonard, who is 78, was stunned for a moment and could only say, “Wow.”
After a moment he composed himself and said only, “Brad, look out!”
These are the kinds of moments that make me smile. That’s so cute! I can just imagine Leonard Nimoy walking tall after that!
If you’re in the U.S. you can see the full episode here.
Thanks to Neer for this story.
(If you’re even a little bit of a Trek fan, I urge you to GO SEE IT in theaters with the massive screens and surround sound. It was so amazing that I’m debating going to see it again.)

You all probably know about this, BUT (it seems very likely Angelina will join Brad at Cannes):-
{and i read elsewhere this morning (online) that Angie is to get two-days off to join Brad there}

The People
Last year it was all about Brangelina and the bump. One year and a double birth later, the biggest names on the red carpet at the Croisette will be…Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie.
Well, we think so. Pitt’s a cert – he’ll be at the festival promoting his role as a Tennessee hillbilly in Quentin Tarantino’s spaghetti-western-cum-war epic Inglourious Basterds. And, despite fevered red-top rumours of a break-up, Jolie may yet stand by her man at Cannes – certainly, Tarantino’s backers would welcome a repeat of last year’s paparazzi storm.

I have to admit that I always wanted to be the one to break his logical mind and get some Spock lovin’.

since this comment of mine is still on moderation in the article about angie’s videos, i hope if i post it here it would not be in moderation..
hey everyone, could you confirm this.. i’ve read in mirror.co.uk that Angie received an album full of loving notes from brad and the six kids.. it’s like their Happy Mother’s Day gift for her..
if this is true, i love it! Brad sure is a creative one in giving gifts to Angie.. remember last year she gave Angie a necklace with the pendant of a machine gun whom Madz draw.. Aww, that is so sweet!
God Bless the Jolie-Pitt’s!

Love this site, and love hearing nice things about the J-P’s. I would never have heard that, unless from here, as i am in Oz. Anyway, i can’t believe Shi is almost 3, it seems like I just found out Ange was pregnant. All the kids must be getting so big, i’d esp like to see how the twins are going, but I totally respect their privacy and don’t blame them one bit for trying to keep a normal life in the face of todays tabliod media frenzy. Although, it could make photos of them more exclusive and therefore the paps might take more risks to get the money shot.
My wish for the J-P’s is a happy healthy life without all the tabloid drama. I truly hope they achieve it. Goodnight All

Ligaya – that video made me laugh, even if I *am* a bigger Trek fan than I am a Star Wars fan.
(Though I definitely DO love SW as well. I just didn’t like the three prequels very much. The three originals were awesome!)
As for Angelina as Khan… No no no. I love Angelina and I think she’s a fantastic actress, but changing Khan to a woman – or even just played by one – doesn’t work for me at all. I’d love to see Angie as something else in Star Trek, but NOT KHAN. She would be excellent as some kind of really tough Klingon warrior!
Now I’m wondering who I would even cast as Khan at all. Hmmm.

i am a Trekkie myself and like Angie i loved Spock/Nimoy! thats so great!

ligaya,
That video was great, it had me laughing and put a smile on my face that should last the rest of the day.
I also can’t see AJ playing Khan, it just wouldn’t be right. I would love to see her play a Vulcan.

I Just remembered, I bought CCOBB and have been watching the making it is fantastic. David Fincher told a story about two women bumping into Brad and was so frighten they drop to thier knees and scream thier heads, off he could not believe these were women were in thier thirties or forties these were not seventeen year old. He was also wishing the frenzy could just diminished a little. Wishful thinking David.
I do not know if the album story is true but it sure sound nice, that they would all write love letters to mom because, without her they would not be here.

Thanks Lylian for the videos. I think Jimmy Fallon is a terrible interviewer so I never watch his show but that part about Angelina was funny. I haven’t seen the movie yet but I will, hopefully soon.
I’m looking forward to Cannes. Can’t wait to see Angie and Brad all dressed up again. I have no doubt Angie will be there.
My niece and I happen to be in Cannes in 2007 and just missed Brad, Angelina and George. We really had no idea who was going to show up on what day since we had been in France for a week and away from any news. We got tired of standing outside (it was a bit chilly that day) so we took a train back to our hotel in Cap d’Antibes. We went down again the next day and someone told us that Brad and Angelina had shown up the night before. Bummer!! We did manage to see (and get pics with) some of the guys from “Entourage” which was fun but very much second choice.

Sherry- Interesting what you said about SW! I am a big SW fan (in fact, I have to admit that I prefer SW over Star Trek!), and when the prequals first came out, I actually liked them better than the orignal trilogy.
However, about two years ago, I rediscovered the orignal trilogy, and now I like the orignals and the prequals pretty much equally. :)

CHRISTY- What album story?

Joliepittfanatic, Kimmy mention an Album full of loving notes that Brad and the kids gave Angie for Mother’s day but was not sure if it was true.

Thanks, Lucy, Angela & Christy. I missed you too. I missed everyone at Pittwatch – but at my busiest, I didn’t think of Pittwatch at all, just tried keeping my head above water. ;-)
I’m hanging around more for Cannes, then it’s back to SUGAR promotion, but more like 18/5 than 24/7.
OT: After this weekend, I’ll get my weekends back – hubby & I have been going to theatres within driving distance to see what the response has been (e.g. city vs. suburbs), take pix of the marquee, collect different tix stubs (hee), etc.
It’s been a lot of fun, but it’s not been a vacation so I can’t say I enjoyed all of it – it’s been a lot of work and pressure. Oy! Ay yah!

Ligaya,
Too bad there is no trip to Cannes, in the whole Sugar process for you. Oh the report you could give us, don’t mind me just day dreaming.

I don’t remember which Cannes it was, but Mary Ann & I were fantasizing there’d be a group of us fans of a certain age, and we’d be at the front with a great chance to see Angelina & Brad.
And if Cannes didn’t accept Half Nelson with Ryan Gosling in it, SUGAR didn’t have a chance with no name actors in it. ;-) Next time…
