I am loving these pictures of Brad Pitt with Maddox and Pax. The three boys were heading to Mars 2112, one of Maddox’s favorite places to eat in New York City. I don’t believe that Pax has ever been there, so I’m sure he had a good time hanging out with his dad and big brother.
The restaurant, as implied by the name, is alien-inspired and also has a video game room. According to people in Mars 2112, they hit up the games first.
It’s so nice that the kids are getting to enjoy some of the many fun things to do in New York. With nice weather (hopefully) coming soon, maybe the Jolie-Pitt family will spend some time in Central Park!

ching- I, too, feel sad that Pax appears to be afraid of the paps. Maddox, in my opinion, looks to be more wary of them than afraid. Speaking of which, I think it’s interesting that, with the two older boys, it’s the younger one (Pax) that seems afraid of the paps, while the older one (Maddox) seems to be more or less okay with them (which makes sense, since he’s been exposed to them the longest).
With the two older girls, however, it’s the exact opposite situation. Zahara, the older one, is scared of the paps (the reason I don’t say “appears” is because both Brad and Angie have confirmed that she is indeed afraid of the paps), while Shiloh, the younger one, seems to be okay with them.
It will be interesting to see how Knox and Viv feel about the paps when they’re older. With Angie’s comments this past Fall about Viv being the feisty twin while Knox is “more chill”, I won’t be at all surprised to see Viv with the Zee paparazzi glare, and Knox with the same laid-back atitude towards the paps that Mad and Shi seem to have!
Thanks for the lovely photos, Sherry! It was great to see Brad the Dad out with his boys. Both Mad and Pax have grown a lot lately. This was probably the first time when Brad took both his older sons to Mars 2112. He´s been there with Mad before but this time they took Pax too. It´s easy to imagine that Pax sure had a blast being out with dad and big bro Mad. According to a OK! story Mad had got up from his chair while they were having dinner and hugged his dad. How cute! It sure was his way to thank his dear daddy for a nice afternoon. Also the story that Brad had congratulated a little boy who had his birthday party at Mars 2112 was cute. That shows he truly loves children. No matter are they his or someone else´s. He was meant to be a father and now his living his dream. He loves Angie and all their children a lot. Hopefully we´ll see daddy Brad out with his two beautiful girls (Zee and Shi) in NYC soon. And I would also like to see new photos of Knox and Viv. But I understand that Brad and Angie want to protect them from public eye right now. God bless this beautiful family!

Im torn between feeling happy because of seeing them and feeling sad because the kids are kinda scared of the paps..specially pax being a younger one. It seems they are hesitant to walk and brad has to drag them a little bit to be reach (or leave..i dont know) the resto. I wish they could go some place where they could run and play publicly without being swarmed by the paps. by the way, mad is becoming more handsome! I think brad is imparting his style on the kids!
So cute! I agree with Mary Ann about Maddox having the “Zee stare” down pat! In the close-up of him, he looks like he’s thinking, “I’ve got my eye on you guys!”
Anyway, in a couple of years Knox will be able to join his dad and big brothers at Mars 2112 (and I wonder if his nickname is “Knoxie” since Pax’s appears to be “Paxie”. Knoxie and Viv, that would be so cute!).

Sherry, I was kind of thinking the same as you that they might be waiting for nicer weather. That estate is right on the water front and is probably very cold and windy right now, but later it will an ideal place to be. Also, there is a helicoptor landing pad there and that would be less than an hour to the city. When I read that there was one I thought the estate made a lot of sense. But if they do go out there I don’t see them doing to much mingling with all the celeb’s that go there in the summer. I don’t believe that is Brad and Angie’s thing to do.
Sherry- I am not from NY, so I am sure there are others that can give you exact times, but I have friends who take the train from Long Island to work everyday. Rush hour traffic from the city is a real drag. I have done that before. It is bumper to bumper at high speed and it still takes quite awhile. I would assume the estate is near the Hamptons which is at the end of Long Island making the drive longer. I suspect Angelina might take advantage of those helicopter pads that are reportedly on the estate’s land to make the commute, but I heard much of the movie would be made on Long Island.
Mary Ann, I’ve been wondering too. I think it’s still possible that they’ve rented a place on Long Island; maybe later one the filming will move out that way and then the family will stay there. Or maybe they’re going to move to the estate when the weather is nicer for running around outside all day and Angelina will commute for filming.
(My Canadian self wonders if that’s logical – is it close enough to be reasonable for Angie to commute to the city for filming? I’m not sure on the distance.)
Sorry, I have another thought. It appears that Madd has gotten the “Zee stare” down pat. Wonder who taught who? You know thinking about how crazy it is with the paps and everyone else around, maybe the kids beg to go out to do things and it is hard to take them anywhere without all that circus atmosphere. And no way would the nannies be able just to take the kids out for a breath of fresh air. Even with Brad’s bodyguards it is bedlam.
My granddaughters have been to Mars 2112 and they say it is really “cool”. I read on JJ that someone over heard Brad calling Pax “Paxie”. That is a nice nickname, all of the children have really cute nicknames. Wonder where the Jolie-Pitts are living. Also wonder if the estate on Long Island is true or not. It is still really cold here in the north-east so I think that we wouldn’t see any park pictures yet.
