Here’s a little Brad Pitt story that doesn’t have any official sources, so it could be absolutely false but I’m going to post it because a) it’s believable and b) it’s freakin’ cute!
According to this story, Brad Pitt is causing quite the commotion during the morning school drop-off time. If the sources are to be believed, a lot of the mothers who are also there to drop their children off at the private school have taken to dressing up a bit more than normal, and are “fighting over who gets to carpool the kids to school”, all in the hopes of getting a chance to meet Brad.
I would actually love it if we got confirmation that this little tale is true! I’m definitely able to picture a bunch of moms racing to get to the school just a bit earlier, looking a little more pulled together just in case they got to exchange a hello with Brad! And really, being the type of person that he is, someone who dislikes the paparazzi but enjoys and respects his fans, as long as there was no screaming or carrying on, I’m sure that Brad would be more than happy to offer up a bit of brief chit-chat in return, don’t you?
In other news, Splash News Online has reported that Brad Pitt has been spotted at local businesses around Long Island lately, including Dunkin Donuts and Borders Books. They also report that a little dining spot called Cassis Bistro “closed its doors so the couple could enjoy a private dinner together”. They only have exterior shots of the buildings in question, so I didn’t bother, but if even the photo agencies are admitting that Brad and Angelina have been out and about together, that should help some of the worried fans to feel better!

I kind of believe this story. But I still would like to have a confirmation to it. Shi is like any little child who misses her daddy when he tries to leave her with the rest of the children and the teachers. I can well imagine the scene where Brad is leaving and Shi won´t let him go and starts to cry. She is daddy´s little girl. I had a friend who was exactly like that. Whenever her mum was getting ready to leave my friend started to cry. But after two weeks my friend was happy to stay at the kindergarten and she let her mum go without starting to cry. BTW. I would like to see new photos of the whole JP clan. I´m still happy that the paparazzis have left them alone for a while but I already miss Brad, Angie and the children enormously. Hope to see them before Cannes so that all those ugly rumors would finally be put to rest. God bless the JP family!
Although my previous comment’s under moderation, I just wanted to add that it’s not just the fact that the pictures were taken over a fence that makes them seem like backyard pictures. Look at how many toys are around – a big plastic teeter totter, bucket, tricycle, soccer ball, at least three other balls, and a bat. Could be wrong, but it doesn’t seem like those are the kinds of things that would be provided by a public park, and seem too bulky for the Jolie-Pitts to have brought with them. Also, Brad is seen picking up the toys in some pics, as though he’s cleaning up after playtime is over.
Also, in picture #9, you can see the same tree that Brad is behind when holding Shiloh in the backyard pictures on the following day. (Possibly they just have a lot of those kinds of tree in Prague, I’m no tree expert, but they do look the same!)
Anyway, I’ve pretty well convinced myself that both day’s pictures are from their yard, heh. Have to agree with you, BT, on this one.

I have read in different places that it is their backyard OR the park. Personally, I think they are from the backyard (look at pic #7 – you can see it has been taken from over a wall). Unless it was a fenced in park, judging by the toys strewn around it looks more like a yard.

The first set of pictures are from May 2, the second from May 3.
BT- Actually, Mary is correct. There are TWO sets of pictures of the kids playing in Prague- one of them in their backyard and one of them in the park.
You can tell that the photos were taken on different days because Shi is wearing a different outfit in the park photos (in which she is seen trying to grab Brad’s sunglasses and also walking a bit. In one of the pictures, you can also see Pax and Z hugging in the lower left-hand corner.) that in the photos of them at their house.
In the park photos, Shi is wearing a light green top with, if I’m remember correctly, cameflauge pants. In the photos that were taken at their house, she’s wearing a blue shirt (she’s wearing pants, too, but it’s hard to make them out).
However, after some research, I did find that there were photos of them in Prague in a park and the paprazzi shots of their backyard, which are different. In the park photos, Brad was seen carrying Shiloh and playing soccer with the boys while Zahara, Angelina and what looks like a nanny were also there.

They are not diferent. They are all from the backyard of house.
There aren’t any pictures of them out with the kids in Prague, except of Brad and Maddox getting a ice cream after school.
They have had a better security team since Prague. I think this group does more research and is proactive. Before you would just see the body guards with them. Now they blend in better when they are seen out, and they are seen much less.
I agree that it is best that they get peace and live their family life the way they are doing it.
I also agree that especially since the end of 2007, after they left NYC, there have been very few candid shots, especially of the children, when they are just out and about. Even though they have complained about Los Angeles, that is where there are very few photos of the children. I don’t think I have ever seen a photo of Shiloh in LA and few of the other children.
However, after some research, I did find that there were photos of them in Prague in a park and the paprazzi shots of their backyard, which are different. In the park photos, Brad was seen carrying Shiloh and playing soccer with the boys while Zahara, Angelina and what looks like a nanny were also there. I found these on simplybrad and were dated May 2. I don’t always trust dates though.
But, it is great to not be seeing them and I really think they work hard to keep their privacy as stated above and I admire them for it. Thanks.
I also agree with everyone who says it’s good that the kids are apparently getting to go to school without the paps sticking cameras in their faces.
I think there needs to be a law against paps taking pictures of celeb children going to and from school. I mean, not only is taking pictures going to and from school obviously disruptive to the celeb kids, but it has make going to and from school an unpleasent experience for their classmates, too.
I think kids should be allowed to go to and from school in peace, celeb kids or not!
Angela50- You’re so right! I h8te that the tabs seem to see arguments between couples as a horrible, dastardly thing! The fact is, arguing, as long as it’s not constant, is actually a sign of a HEALTHY relationship! A relationship in which the partners never, ever argue is NOT healthy!
People who love each other are going to argue sometimes. That’s just a fact of life!
A- I love that they were sighted at the grocery store! The fact that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt were doing their own grocery shopping shows just how down-to-Earth they really are! :)
Angela- I’m sure Shi probably does go to school with Pax and Zee (from what I’ve read, Brad just signed the younger kids up for pre-school. Maddox is apparently not attending school. I’m guessing he’s probably continuing to be homeschooled.), as Zee was barely 2 when she started school and Shi is nearly 3 now. :)
BT- Thanks for explaining! I understand your point now, and agree with it. You’re right, they HAVE been spotted going to indoor parks, taking the kids to friends’ houses, etc. without the paps getting pictures of them. Also, you’re right about those pictures being of them in the backyard rather than the park. I remember reading that somewhere now.
When I was making the list of the pictures, I thought of Celebrity-Baby Blog’s post of those pictures, and they said it was a park. However, they probably got that wrong (especially considering that they don’t post photos that are taken by sneaky paps in celebs own yards. If they had known those pictures were taken in their backyard, I doubt they’d have posted them).
Anyway, do you (or any of the rest of you PittWatchers, for that matter) happen to have a link to that video of Angie, Brad, Pax, and Zahara on the set of Wanted? I don’t think I’ve ever seen that one, and I’d like to! :)
All of that said, I always have to laugh whenever I hear people claim that the J-P kids must not have any friends because they travel around so much.
I can’t believe that people make those assumptions just based on pap pics!
It’s fantastic that they are evading photographers so much lately. I must say I’m surprised that the paparazzi haven’t tracked down their regular haunts in Long Island. In the past, it seemed they tracked them by following their cars when they leave the property. Either they have a really good back entrance, or the paparazzi genuinely don’t know where they’re living now. Which is great!
Not sure if it’s an actual pattern or if I’m just imagining it, but it seems that we see the kids less when Angelina is either working or busy (and the kids are being cared for by Brad). When Brad was filming Burn After Reading, for example, we saw a lot of the kids in NYC (toy stores, multiple trips to central park, Kidville, trips to the set, etc) whereas when Angelina’s filming (like now) we don’t see as many outings. It’s probably just a function of the city they’re in, though, rather than the parent who’s caring for them.
the restaurant closing just to give them private time together is just sweet. and the “hi mommy” is really cute!!! i wonder if Shiloh gets to go to school already with Z, Pax and Mad? it must be really cute to see them altogether carrying their little knapsacks and their snack/lunch boxes. :)

You got some pictures in there that are wrong. They were never playing in a park in Prague. Those pictures that are at SJ are from the backyard of their house. One paparazzi got in a tree and got them.
The only pictures you got of them in Prague without being the drops and picks up of the kids at school are of Brad and Maddox getting a ice cream. And some video that one of people that worked in Wanted taked of BRad, Angelina Pax and ZAhara.
The pitures in NOLA are when they are there for some event and the paparazzi know. Like Oct of last year or in Dec of 2007.
They have been in NOLA several times without the paps catching them because they don’t know they are there.

I was speaking of the family ou togehter or Brad and Angelina. After the twins were borns there weren’t any pictures.
If go to any site with pictures of them you will see that as the years went by, thwy manage to escape better to the paparazzi and there’s less pictures. Unless they have to go to the same place everyday and the paparazzi know where it is and have access.
In Berlin, because the kids weren’t at school we didn’t go any pictures. But they went out. There are reports that family went to indoor parks and visiting friends etc.
In the last 2 years we have more reports and sightings then actual pictures.
Since they are in Long island there are many sights of them. But no pictures. The tabloids and the paparazzi don’t even know where they are living and thatt shows how hard they work on their privacy.
Thank you Joliepittfanatic for explaining better what i meant,I mean from the time they got together,I also think why there have been so many pictures is the travelling and working making movies.I would love to see both of them take a year off without making any movies or promoting any.
Oh, and I meant to say that I understand what you’re saying, Brangelina4Ever. For the most part, in terms of photos of the J-Ps, it’s been pretty much one or two months on/one or two months off.
BT- Actually, there WERE a few pictures right after Angie gave birth. We saw Brad taking the boys to Venice with him when he went to the Venice Film festival, Brad taking Zahara on a trip to Paris (I think it was Paris, anyway. At any rate, it was some place in France), and Brad, Zahara, and Brad’s parents going to a museum somewhere in France.
Granted, that’s only three set of pictures, but my point is, it’s not accurate to say that we didn’t see ANY pictures of the J-Ps right after Angie gave birth to the twins.
Also, BT, when Jackie said “from 2005…” I’m pretty sure that she meant from 2005 (i.e. when they got together) on, not just pictures from 2005.
Brangelina4ever- I DO see your point, but I see Jackie’s point as well. From 2006 through the end of last year, we saw pictures of all of the following:
-Angie and Brad taking the kids to and from school.
-Angie and Brad taking Zahara and Shiloh for walks just before Pax’s adoption.
-Angie, Maddox, Zahara, and Pax in Vietnam right after Pax’s adoption.
-Angie taking the kids to Lee’s Art Shop in New York.
-The family going on boat rides in Chicago and Italy.
-Angie and Brad taking the kids to the zoo, the park, Kidville, the toystore, and the set of the movie Brad was filming at the time (I forget which one it was) in NYC.
-Angie taking Zee and Shi shopping in Monoco.
-Angie and Brad taking the boys on a boat ride in France.
-The family going for walks and bike rides in NOLA.
-The family going to shopping and to the movies in Texas.
-The family playing at a park in Prague.
and the list goes on!
Also those pictures were few and far between. It just seems that they were a lot after the paps found out where Mad went to school. I think from 2007 mainly.
Like for example 2005:- There was one set of pics on the beach in April and other in Oct. One in June-biking with Mad. Aug/Sept-indoor playground, Canada.
They usually a month or two in between sighting. Examples: when they went shopping to How’s in 2005; and Lees stores in 2006/7 a handful of times; France-parkx3 2006. Mad at school +++++; Clothes shopping in France to Toys R Us. Angie in NY Park autumn ’07, Brad in NY park and Texas-borders and gas station.
It’s not as often as some other stars and their children.
My point is it has always been every 2plus months or so, other than when Mad’s school was besieged in Prague and NY.
