Naturally, here at PittWatch, we all know that Brad Pitt is hot. But generally I think of him as being a good looking (and highly talented) actor. It’s easy to forget how much work he does behind the scenes for Plan B, acquiring film rights and then producing them. That’s why I was a little surprised to find Brad here, on the list of the 25 Hottest men in business.
Then again, I was surprised to see him placed at number four. Clearly they are crazy, because Brad should place at the top in the number one slot! Maybe they should let us re-do the list for them. I love Jamie Oliver and think he’s rather cute, but I would never put him before Brad!
What I did find interesting was their number one hottest man in business – none other than Tom Ford, the designer behind most of Brad‘s suits and tuxedos on the red carpet. In fact, it was Ford who designed the suit that Brad wore the other night in Berlin on the red carpet.
I’m curious about something – when someone says Brad Pitt to you, what springs to mind first for you? Do you think actor, producer, business man, humanitarian, father, or partner to Angelina Jolie first? Despite the fact that I love all sides of him, actor is still the first thing I think just because that’s what he’s been doing the longest. What about you?

I say those sunglasses are fro those glaring lights and flashes from the cameras, my guess! I think of Brad as an Actor, Partner to Angelina, Father to the kids, Humanitarian and lastly as a businessman. Congrats on the two being nominated! wooohooo!
I consider him, first, as the attentive father he is, secondly I see him as a humanitarian. Both awesome roles.
Honestly, when someone mentions his name to me, can’t help but what comes to my mind first is his being the significant other of the most incredibly,breathtakingly, genetically-blessed couple in the world. Their love story is very inspiring. I get interested of him only when he hooked-up with AJ. Secondly, his being a good father to their children. Then, his profession as an actor.
Brad Pitt-What dreams are made of! As we mature he still lives up to that dream. I love his humility, the way you see his soul through is eyes. So I guess it would be his acting first, fatherhood and humanitarian. He is a man first and formost, everything else is a natural procession of who he is. I’d say his parents raised him right.

Well Sherry, this is a tough one. I really had no interest with Brad prior to MMS. I didn’t even lke him in Thelma and Louise. After MMS, I was intrigue of his decision to separate from his wife. I know, this is weird, but my first thought was Brad is a visionary. I had to watch his interview with Dianne Sawyer, from beginning to end. It showed his first trip to Africa with Dianne. I guess, humanitarianism will be second. The young African boys called him “Bread,” and they know Keanu Reeves and not him. He asked them who their favorite actor, the kids said, Keanu. Then, he said, he is a good actor. Third reason, is his humility. I love this about Brad.
UNDER MOD- My answer to Sherry’s question and my thoughts on Angie overshadowing Brad a bit in the humantarinisum department.
I guess I usually think of Brad as an actor first, but I also find it impossible to think about him without also thinking about Angie and the adorable Jolie-Pitt kids!
As for his humanatarian work, lately I’ve been feeling like Angie sort of overshadows him in that area. What I mean is, when most people think of Brad and Angelina as a couple and the humantarian work they’ve done, it’s Angie they usually think of first.
In fact, both the tabs and the general public have accused Angie more times than I can count of basically being the driving force behind the humanatarian work they do together (e.g. The AIDS Clinic named for Zee Zee that they opened in Ethiopia, and the Maddox Jolie-Pitt Project in Cambodia) and just dragging Brad along with her.
Unfournately, people tend to forget that Brad is very much a humantarian himself, and actually has been one since before he met Angie. I think part of the reason people forget about him being a humantarian even before meeting Angie is because he kept that part of his life fairly private until he met Angie.
In fact, some people seem to be so forgetful in regards to Brad’s humantarian work that they complain that Angie and Brad aren’t doing anything for the U.S., instead focusing only on third world countries. Uh, hello? Make It Right, anyone?
I think of Brad as an Actor first, then Father and Partner, next Humanitarian. He is such a well rounded man. Bravo to all the men that make the list, men should be credited for the good business sense.
That list is eclectic. Very well done by all of them.

I have a question. What does the Oscar round table mean? Why are they invited? I mean, are those being invited there are sure IN on the nominations? I think Angie was invited over last years round table but she didn’t get nominated? I’m just really curious.

“They” are not crazy. It’s just pure personal opinion of a reader of Business Pundit. Its editor’s note at the top of the article says:
“After reading our Hottest Women of Business article, a reader named Sarah challenged us to do a Hottest Men of Business article. So we challenged her back -> you write it, we’ll post it. She met her end of the bargain. And we’re meeting ours.”
It’s very difficult to determine Sarah’s criteria for the list. If it was just hottest businessman, nobody on the list can top Brad, really!
What comes to mind, hmmmnn…1) a loving father he is to his children (all 5 of them), 2) loving partner to Angelina and 3) a caring man for his fellow men, NOLA and other humanitarian activities he’s involved with.

OT: Oscar nominations will be out tomorrow. Brad and TCCOBB is getting positive buzz but Angie and Changeling has mixed reviews. But we can never tell yet.
Let’s keep our fingers crossed that both of them will atleast get nominations!

At his age & to be one of the hottest actors is great. He is still # 1 for us fans. Brad & Angie are the best that ever happen in HW. God bless the Jolie-Pitt’s.

When I think of Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie is right behind. I think of them as a unit and of course the king and queen of hollywood. No one can compete with them they are on a whole other league of their own.
